Re: Stars $11 MTT, my knockout hand

I agree that this is a push, but for a moment, playing devil's advocate...

Habitually, the place in these tournaments is fairly loose and passive. Players with middle pocket pairs, big aces, etc....

Re: Stars 22R AA heads up after limp UTG - bad turn

You went for a limp reraise and then had a seizure or what?
Pop it to 1200, then pot the flop. Makes things easy.

As you played it,........ ugh. He could have QKhearts, a J, or 33-TT. I probably...

Re: Flopped a monster, but way too many people in ...

You have T655 behind? 950 in the pot?
Just push. Hope to get called by a heart draw and a 5, and triple up. You don't have enough left to fold the hands that you want to be calling you, and that's...

Re: Stars $5r final table.

Sweetwater has some sort of unhealthy man crush on Exit....

[edit] and yet he's won almost 20k in Stars MTTs... not sure why he's so willing to make a pro-Exit deal. keep haggling Candyman.

Re: Getting thrown out of a Vegas poker room

mocking strangers is pretty bloody pathetic.

trying to prevent collusion is fine, but there are a million better ways to do it than dropping a bunch of f-bombs and acting like a dick.

Re: A stop-and-go hand that actually worked

pushing this preflop is ridiculous, it guarantees a call from standard raising hands, all of which are ahead of TJo preflop.

your stack looks a little too shallow for a stop/go to me here, but it...

Did you think he had a K to begin with after the flop? If so, you maybe should have laid down being way behind post flop. Granted the river helped you but really it helped villian even...

Re: My original raise was 300. I still had 800 chips.

Re: Am I too timid or is Ace Queen very foldable to a reraise?

I agree with your fold. He most likely has AK, or a larger PP. Against ANY PP, you are an underdog. He could easily have QQ here. AA and KK he most likely tries to trap. I would most...

Re: Any eight will win!

I would politely explain the one player to a hand rule to FRM, and explain loudly enough that if someone is stupid enough to muck a winning hand, that's their own damn fault.
