You can fold the river.

Re: Preflop quiz

1 Dunno I find this one pretty hard.

2 fold b/c of bad position and you hold marginal hand with danger of gettin sandwhiced between SB and button

3 fold b/c of bad position and because I don’t...

Re: how wrong am i here?

With better reads I'm keen on making it 3.

I agree with the spicy moose that this is a clearcut call.

TO OP: Why play 4handed without keen reads.? Do you prefer 4-handed over 5-6 handed. IMO...

Re: check/call aces (5/10)

Lead turn your hand is not strong enough for a checkraise IMO.

Lead river aswell since you can't raise it.

Re: Failed check/raise on turn I get him om river.

I have given this a bounch of thoughts and theres no doubt that I'll make more money in the long run by checkraising the flop. Sure enough It'll suck to be threebettet but against this player we can...

Re: River call. Obvious?

I think it has been up before that not folding a set while HU would hardly ever be a mistake and at most a very minor one.

I'm calling and don't care wether it's a spade or wether I win. I don't...

Re: Failed check/raise on turn I get him om river.

Well maybe it ain't so much WA/WB however I steel don't see which hands he'll give us action with that we beat here.

A good thing with a c/r could be that it gives us the initiative and therefor...

Re: something I\'ve been doing lately.

[ QUOTE ]
Yeah, the original question was much more of a general "is it ever right to coldcall from the SB" question.

I 3 bet with something like K7o, but for something with no SD value unless...

Re: Clear turn fold now that I look at it.

Teeny mistake if one at all, IMO. I just like playing flush draws. 6:1 seems enough to call pf.

Re: mid pair against flop raise,

You'll see a flushdraw raise this often enough to merit a calldown also you have a few outs left. It's close though but I go to SD quite often here.

Re: cold 3bet flushdraw on turn

Cap flop call turn board pairing sucks for your hand.

Re: Failed check/raise on turn I get him om river.

I'm using WA/WB line here so with blanks it would be check/call turn and bet/call river. If he checks through turn I obviosly lead river however not an A, in which case I check/cry.

BTW villian...

Re: Failed check/raise on turn I get him om river.

Well at turn I put him on Ahigh or mid PP leaning towards A-high. I don't think he checks trough turn with either AJ or AK thus I believe I'm ahead on the river. Actually A mid PP like 88 or TT is...

Failed check/raise on turn I get him om river.

only 87 hands on villian so far he's at 20/13/4,1 so seems to be a tag. I open with a marginal K9s. Options could be made for raising flop but it seemed a bit similar to a wa/wb on the flop thus I...

For crying out loud at the river.

Villian is laggy 53/10/1,1 from 265 hands. I'm just checking wether we pay or fold this one. In play I forgot that I didn't beat any other q's as they might have better kickers and my twopair is...

Re: Making him fold a better hand

Check/fold turn and move on to next hand. There's quite a few more capping hands that holds an A as opposed to the ones that doesn't. Also we won't succeed making UTG fold KK or QQ every time, Id say...
