Re: Kings
I think there are too many hands you beat to make a push here +ev. If he hit the 4 I would be paying him off. I look forward to hearing what others have to say.

Re: A boring Party NL $25 hand
UTG+2 was pre-flop raiser so the bet on the flop is expected, doesn't necessarily mean that he hit anything. Raising flop could work, but you might take the control away from UTG+2 and make him more...

Re: Overpair with 3 clubs up on flop
With this flop you have to feel like you got the best hand. If he has a club there is a flush draw out there for him, but make him pay for it. The turn bet is fine for finding out information, with a...

Re: Newbie with a flopped set
For the most part you don't want to slow play hands. Go ahead and raise them just like you did, plus being on the button might look like your on a steal and you will definitely get calls.

Re: Two Pair could get me a huuuuuge pot

I am wondering if a C/R on the flop could be argued for if you are certain to get a bet from UTG, thus trapping $$ into the pot for you when you make the C/R.

Re: Ultra strange line that worked but...
Yeah...That's amazing that he still called your river bet. Raise the flop, I don't see how the jack could have helped him. Checking the turn is too obvious and a pot sized bet would do best here....

Re: TPTK Trouble
I don't think this is an obvious fold. Pre-flop he could have been calling you with a low pocket pair, but, I think the only thing you have to be worried about is the A-Q.

Re: 1-2 Live NL Hand, 2 Pair - Facing Flush
Well by calling his $100 bet on the turn you are letting him know you are pot committed and he obviously is too. By the way you played it there is nothing to think about on the river and you have to...

Re: 1-2 Live NL Hand, 2 Pair - Facing Flush
Ok here's what I'm thinking. I don't see him re-raising you pre-flop with pocket 5's or 8's, but maybe with A-K suited. I think it is very likely he bet on flop with a flush draw, and caught his...

Re: AA , Call \\ Fold , criticize this line
The pre-flop raise is low, $6 should do fine.
The more I look at it the more it looks like he has a pocket pair and is just trying to get in cheaply and see if he can flop a set. I just don't...

Re: To raise or not to raise.... (quick one)
I call too. If he has a hand like Trip K's or a small boat he will raise or call, and if he only has 2 pair you could get extra money cuz he still might call but he would dare call a re-raise with...
