Re: LO8 Give me a better line
preflop i would always play KKds when sidecards are not horrible.
flop call is fine so is raise. if low had come on turn instead then the preflop raise won't put you on hand like KK and you...

Re: Wraparound draw LO8 .5/1
Great stuff.
But I think in practice the 3456 will be less bet-able and win less money.
but it did better than i would have expected.

Obviously, it depends on your opponents, but in general playing the way you suggest is not optimal against most.

This is a hand you want to play in late position. I'd call UTG but it's not worth a raise. You'll win smaller pots and lose bigger ones due to playing in a weak position.

Re: Harrington style situation
fold. losing puts you close to 3-4xbb and pushes you into dangerously low fold equity zone. chip and $ev start to diverge more now.

I'm all in here. TT is too big a hand to stopngo and lets him get away too cheaply from a wide range of hands that would call here, including lower pairs, lower connectors, Qx/Kx/Ax where x is lower...

Very interesting. Trying to answer these as I would at the table, taking <15seconds
1. He must fold >64%
2a KQ, AT, 88
2b KJ, A6, 55
3 yes, 30%

Re: NL200 Flush push
I prefer check-raising here, for a bunch of reasons.
1. your fold equity if raised is much smaller due to stack size
2. it avoids the scenario where you are called, miss turn and have tough...

Re: I resemble that remark
No, your post is flat out wrong. The blind size has nothing to do with this.
You need to compare the winrates and equivalize them. Then compare the variance you’ll get in achieving that winrate....

Re: $50 PLO8 hand
what is your plan on the turn if a non-low, non-club hits (i.e most of the deck), esp. since most sane people with the nut straight and no redraws here are not going to war on that flop?

Re: Flop nut straight...played right?
I’d have raised the flop 100% of the time here. You want to get all the money in and the chances of that happening are better if you build the pot. You also want someone with A2,54 or 33 to play...

And NL is almost certainly...
