Re: calling raises with aq

6max or 10max?
6max I call most of the time. Position helps, as does stats.

Re: How is my KK overpair line here?

Hero has 150ish behind in a 158 pot, I don't mind this line at all. A little deeper and I'd bet ~120 or so on the river as played. Although I like to bet the turn normally.

Re: Cowboys folded

Looks like Tx that wants a showdown to me. That 4 is a good card for you. I'd raise allin.

It's not really my thing and I've never seen it as a big deal but then again I'm not really a big holliday person in general.

Re: How to determine what to bet?

Sometimes 50%, sometimes 75%, sometimes 100%, sometimes some other number too. It depends on the board to a great extent, more draws, higher %... less draws, lower %. Also, ofcourse, on the player,...

Re: Are you called a fish?

Pretty much everytime I push allin with a draw I get called a fish. Especially funny once when I pushed allin with AQo on Qxx(all same suit as my A) just because I thought I had him, he flips over a...

Re: Interesting hand quiz

FYI, he posted "the answers" (http://www.tillerman.net). What do people think of what he says? And what about his friend folding 2nd nut flush on the river?

I think this is fine, only thing missing is potsizes.

As to the hand, I'd check/call flop and pot turn, then shutdown. As played I'd probably...

Re: Two hands meet flop resistance, QKo, AKo, Top pairs

Bet more, especially on both turns, but I want more on the flops too. Hand1 get your money in(would be easier if you had bet more earlier), hand2 you have ~45 behind in a 114 pot? get the rest in...

Re: 2-4NL, will i ever establish myself at this limit??

I play poker mostly to learn something new, I've been very good at several other games already, and this is my new "challenge". Then, as a side effect more or less, I can also make a shitload of...

Re: four handed live game $ .50/1.00 blinds, small stacks

If you think he'll bet I'd consider c/r allin but there's really no room for that anyways. Preflop is meh, reraising semi-big OOP with a marginal hand, I'd hate it if I missed.

Re: KK..........................

This is a good flop fold. Preflop is good too imo, in the off-case he has AK or QQ you don't wanna chase him away, but this flop is just as worse as it gets pretty much.

Re: 2-4NL, will i ever establish myself at this limit??

So basically, you've played 1000 hands and now you're wondering why you're not making money? Starting off a couple buyins down is something I do almost everyday, that's why I try not to play with...

Re: AK math problem. Call 28 w/ nothing to win 100?

I'd call, but I give shorties too much action. But seriously, I see K high here alot too, but also top pair etc ofcourse, but atleast you have some outs.

Re: It\'s a SET! is this the right play?

I'd raise it up first time around(preflop), makes it play a bit different. As played I raise flop, your line right now looks just like many donks play sets
