Re: AQ early facing re-raise
There wasn't really anything else to do here. Anything less than a standard raise with AQ in the cutoff after it is folded to you is weak, IMO, and there isn't really much point in raising more. ...

Re: just how good are snowmen?
8,8 is a big hand three handed. You are very likely to have the best hand preflop, and in this situation, you are looking to double up so you can make a run for first. Getting all your chips to the...

Re: 99 preflop, 2 raises, did I play this wrong?
Well, KQ is a very different hand from 99. Without knowing all of the details, I would say that no, you shouldn't have pushed vs the minraiser with KQ. Generally speaking, when pushing over the top...

Re: 99 preflop, 2 raises, did I play this wrong?
I think this is a pretty easy call, because I would expect the second all-in raiser to have a pair lower than yours and be looking to isolate the all-in short stack, who could have just about...

Re: do you take a stand?
You have to call here. You will be well ahead most of the most, and you will win most of the time, and as a result you'll be in good shape to make a run at first most of the time.
The rest of the...

You made a great read here Scuba, and really maximized your value by inducing the bluff.
That being said, I do not think I would have played the hand the same way (perhaps to my detriment). It...

You are not getting enough implied odds to call trying to hit a set and up double up (because you're stack isn't big enough), and raiser isn't going to fold if you push. There is no real...
