Re: How did I do on this one?

Hi SteamBoatin,

Yeah, in Omaha you're not worried about flush cards higher that your made flush. Since they have to play two cards, they either already have it or they don't and it's not coming. ...

Re: 80/160 straight on the turn

My thinking would be to do what I would do if I had the Q /images/graemlins/diamond.gif. So check-raise the turn. It would be really hard for him to call the cr without the Q...

Re: AKo - Call a turn raise and fold to river bet

I think calling the turn check raise and folding the river is bad. Unless you have a read on the two players behind suggesting one of them might raise the river.

Loosey goosey prolly has two-pair...

Re: MY first O8 post. Tear it apart.

I only count 14 outs for the low. That's better than a 1 in 2 chance of hitting by the river. How did you count 18 outs?

I'm new to OH, so please forgive me if this is simple and I just can't...

Thanks for all the great input.

He had AKo and rivered me. I guess he's not that good or solid. I think folding the turn was his best option. I capped pre-flop because he was running...

A couple of hands ...

Hand 1

UTG+2 appears solid - in that he has shown down several hands and has always had the goods. He's aggressive and I haven't seen him get out of line the since I sat down. He's also running...

Re: Who played this hand worst?

Maybe I'm over-reacting. Maybe I'm a mean-spirited person. Probably the former.

If I were trying to impress anyone, I would have filtered. Things are what they are.

How do I delete the post...

Some of you guys are so full of yourselves, it's funny. I wasn't aware this limit belongs in microlimit - for taht I'm sorry. But I doubt I'd get any valuable responses there anyhow. I get few...

Who played this hand worst?

And who played it best? Comments appreciated on all streets.

Cutoff is one of the better players I've seen, but he's not great. Button I haven't seen before, but he's short stacked and seems...

Re: Looking for cheapo hotel rooms in Vegas 10/6-10/10

Hi SR,

I haven't looked recently, but you might try the Gold Coast. It's a locals hangout type of hotel. It has shuttles (every 15 minutes I think) to the Barbary Coast and the Orleans. It's...

Results and thoughts

Thanks CDC. That's sort of what I figured. But it's hard not to be results oriented in these situations.

I think folding pre-flop is too weak. Raiser is in position to steal and my hand is good...

Re: Commerce gonna be nuts this weekend??

The players are so bad you'd have to hit a horrendous run of cards to blow a stack of 25BBs.

The only read I have on this opponent is that I've seen him play a couple of hands in a non-straightforward manner (i.e betting or raising and then folding). But, truthfully the games are so loose...

Re: Too weak tight, yes?

I'm what many would call weak-tight. I consider myself conservative.

In the hand the flop does not appear draw rich. So what calls your flop bet? Flush draws and maybe overcards or AT, KT, QT,...

Re: Crushing live 2/4 tables

This is probably good advice. But there might be reasons you can't beat the 2/4 other than less then optimal play.

What is the rake structure like? If they're taking a drop each and every hand. ...

I play holdem exclusively. The game I play in takes a drop each and every hand that sees a flop. No flop, they take $1. If my game...

Re: Need help with this TPTK decision on the River

The only reasonable draw he could be on is a flush draw and he's got plenty of overlay to call through the turn.

If he's not on a draw, he's got a K with a worse kicker and he's calling you down. ...

Re: Do you ever wonder if you have what it takes to be a winning player?

Yes, the experts say it's impossible to beat the low limits in the long run due to the rake/drop/toke/jackpot structure. If no money was taken off the table, I'd be up significantly. As it is I'm...
