Re: Best $6-12 games in Vegas?
I know you asked for 6-12, but try the 8-16 games at the Wynn and the Bellagio. They were good in November when I played there.

Re: Tropicana AC a dump?
I've stayed there probably 10 times in the last 5 years- never had a problem with the rooms. It's not glamourous but is functional for a good night's sleep, and not expensive if you get the poker...

Re: Luxor vs Tropicana
If you do not mind staying off the strip, try the Orleans- Good Poker room, cheap and nice rooms, two tournaments everyday. Just my 2c

Has anyone used this software. Apparently it tracks what everyone at your table has done (fold 80% preflop etc). Just wondering what your experiences are with it.

4-8 game-profitable with $4 rake?
Can you actually make money in a 3-6 or 4-8 game that has a $4 rake (+$1 tip). The games I'm talking about are the Trop 4-8 and the Bellagio 4-8, or even the Borgata/Mirage 3-6 games. Is this...

Re: How was the Borgata on the 12th?
The room was very nice and the chairs are excellent. The dealers were very good (most are ex-Trop dealers). I like the fact that the room is downstairs away from the noise of the slots, but you...

Re: Where to play in Vegas...again!
I second Dynasty's motion for Mandalay Bay, and also recommend Orleans (for ring games as well as tournaments) and the Bellagio. All of the above have good Fri and Sat night action.

Re: Atlantic City
I think the Trop is the best place to play LLHE in AC (lets face it, you really only have 2 choices to play LLHE, that is the Taj or the Trop). Both places have a poker club card. The card for Trop...
