Re: 10/20NL, TPTK against a half stack
It's true to the extent that to maximize your BB/100, assuming you are a winning player with 100BB stacks, you would reload every time your stack fell below the max.
I find your post so typical. ...

10/20NL, TPTK against a half stack
Villain in this hand is 32/6/2. Don't know enough to comment on his postflop play. My table image is pretty TAG.
Villain has $1091 to start and I cover. One limper. I make it $80 in the SB...

The responses are kind of surprising. I expected them to be along the lines of "you are the dumbest person alive if you even consider sending the $ back".
Anyway, he asked for the $1200 back...

Re: Any reasons not to get this computer?
I would get a barebones system from DELL. Do not buy any accessories or upgrade anything. Throw out the crappy video card and 256MB RAM chip and buy those seperate from newegg.

Re: 50/100 HU hand #1
I agree 100% with what AZK said. In asking for someone to tell you the "correct" play or even give you some sort of relevant thought process, you are drastically underestimating the importance of...

Re: $25-$50 NL KJo in the bb
A couple of reasons:
"He has been raising quite a bit preflop, and has raised 4 times in a row or so when it was folded to him in the sb."
I think this is the most important one. When someone...

Re: $25-$50 NL KJo in the bb
I agree with all of this. I do think this is a good card for villain to C/R any kind of draw or even a hand like 88 on a bluff. The reasoning is that he probably expects you to check the turn with...

Re: 5/10 NL 6 max on partypoker vs. loloTRICKEDu
Don't check strong hands. Attack like you normally would. His overbets are a combination of strong draws and good hands that he is pushing a bit harder than he should knowing that because of his...

Re: a set against sonicboom
I havent played full ring in the longest time but a couple of comments/questions:
1) Why not raise the flop? Aren't there a ton of cards that could potentially kill your action/not allow you to...

Re: QQ...yikes!
It really does look like he wants to reload. Even still, he's probably doing it with AA/KK so I think this is a routine fold.
Edit: You also have to worry about the initial raiser and the caller...

Re: A very weird spot 10 20 party
If he's a 2+2er, this is probably his thought process. If I just cold call this, there is a good chance someone will try a squeeze play. Then I will reraise and he will be like wtf, who plays AA...

Re: A very weird spot 10 20 party
Just fold. I've stopped second guessing myself in these situations. Whenever someone plays a hand funny preflop and I get all-in w/ a mediocore hand, they always seem to turn over AA.
