Re: Interesting PF situation
There is a lot of money in the pot, but you now have to get through 4 blinds so you can't go overboard. You say the normal blinds are on the passive side so that is good, however MP1, came to play,...

Re: 10/20 or 20/40 FL at Foxwoods

Most of the time the 20 game is very good too. However, there are times when it is not. The weekends are almost...

Re: Commerce 40/80 Full Steam Ahead
I think you guys are are FOS on the flop. The 1st caller is still getting 9:1 on his call, so they're calling with nearly anything anyway, not to mention a few of these guys are 4 card flop guys...

Re: Commerce 40/80 Full Steam Ahead
I did look at the suit and sighed, then realized it paired the board.
PF - I would normally cap, but the 3 bet by this guy was very unusual and there was a good chance I was beat.
Flop - Anyone...

Commerce 40/80 Full Steam Ahead
My last night at Commerce and I'm in a pretty good 40 game. For what it is worth, I didn't think that the play overall was all that overaggro. But there was very little trust and it was very rare...

Re: New restrooms at Commerce
Hi Andy -
FWIW I did wash my hands with soap on Saturday.
/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
I have to agree w/ Clarkmeister, they are great 40 games at the Commerce. And you even have 5-7 to...

Watching Tommy Fold
PokerBabe, Bob S. and I are sitting in a 20 game at the Mirage. It was a very good game. Unfortunately, the huge fish in the game gets up and leaves. Next thing I see is Tommy sitting down to...

Re: Seat charge too high??
The other day Angel Fish sat in the game while waiting for a seat in the 10/20 game. See folks, she's moved up!
She's in it for less than an hour and comes over on her way to her 10 game and says...

Re: Inducing a bluff raise? Needless spewing?
These are situations that you often find yourself in when you're running bad and observant players take notice of it and start taking shots at you, especially if they have run you down earlier in the...

Re: Biloxi
I'm not sure, but I think that the closest one is the 8 table room at Boomtown on the west bank from NOLA.

This guy sounds like the old joke about consultants.
You pay then a lot of money just so they can look at your watch and tell you the time.

As I remember, the 75 stud game goes almost all the time on the weekends. During the week, it's more hit and miss.

Re: When do you look at your cards. And Why?
[ QUOTE ]
In low limit games, I think waiting to look at your cards until it is your turn is about equal to wearing sunglasses at the table.

C'mon, it's not nearly so bad; it only...

Re: Money Hand with 87s

Could I have possibly had a better turn there?

Re: Foxwoods big game
Outside of tourny times in the spring and fall, we have to beg to get a 40 game going. Then the few times that they actually call it, it never fills and usually breaks after only a couple of hours....

Re: When do you look at your cards. And Why?
They'll still be looking at you when it's your turn to act even if you have already looked at your hand.
If you have to worry about giving off tells when you look at your hand, you need to work on...
