Re: not sure how to play these
Bleh, these have to be some of the most uncomfortable spots in the game. I think I probably fire again on the turn, but I don't really like it. If he's TAGish, and called your bet on a KKJ flop, it...

I raised with the intention of folding to a 3 bet, but opponent thought for like 20 seconds then folded.

Re: I felt dirty...yet good
I dunno, I think I just let it go on the flop with dirty outs, a coordinated board and passive preflop player (albeit over a small number of hands) LRRing. Nothing funner than runner runner though.

Re: KQo from early against a lagtard maniac
I maybe consider slowing down if 3-bet/capped on the turn. You've got a great hand and this is a nice opportunity to punish the maniac.
Edit: Meant to reply to original post.

Re: Spewing w/ TT?
If he is indeed a borderline maniac, this is an easy raise and probably cap. While you may be beaten, it's unlikely and this is a great spot to get him to dump off a bunch of chips to you.

Re: Stealing the blinds with QQ
For what it's worth, I would cap this the vast majority of the time, just chose to mix it up on this particular hand. As for finding a raise, I agree with one of the posts that if it's there, it's...

That is actually a good point, Trix. If I bet out, he probably raises with virtually every hand he could have here (maybe with the exception of QQ).

Re: why check the flop?
If I bet and get raised, I certainly can't fold, as I now have odds to draw for the gutshot.

UTG+2 is 45/3, nothing on BB. After the turn I really wasn't sure what to do here. Check/fold turn? River?

Peel one off?
Opponent is TAG with a tendency to play too aggressively postflop.
