Re: 3-5 handed?
How can someone have 3000+ posts and not know what "fit or fold" means?
27/20 doesnt sound too ag to me at all, even if the blinds are very loose. You'll still have the better hand by the river...

I'm drawing decent against a mid-pocket pair and I'm drawing very strongly to most split dueces. Aren't those his most likely holdings?

Re: Blind steal, turn decision

Think the turn is an easy fold here as you're drawing pretty thin against anything but a Q-high bluff (which doesn't seem likely).

Re: Blind steal, turn decision
I try not to fold to the flop checkraise if I can help it. If my hand has a chance I'll usually call. That's for metagame reason.
I don't think this villain could checkraise an unimproved A on...

Blind steal, turn decision
Villain in this hand is loose preflop, and I haven't seen any aggression out of him postflop in the couple orbits I've played with him. My table image is pretty stellar at this point.

Re: One of *those* decisions...
I'm wondering why you think you have the best hand on the turn.
The river is an easy bet, you never know what these all-in guys are going to call you with.

QTs vs. TAG
I don't play against TAGs all that often, which is why I'm posting this. The villian in this hand seems pretty decent.

Re: 66
I'd really want to showdown this hand and really want to get it heads up so I can do so most cheaply. If you check, there's no way you're getting rid of a player on the flop. Lead the flop. The BB...

I'd probably pay off and regret it later.

You'd regret folding a winner 23 times as much. The more I think about this hand, the more I think folding is really bad.

Re: AA - i suxor
Raising the turn after the check/3-bet on the flop is no good. It sure looks like Jx or QQ when he wusses out on the river though, so I like the river raise. And if he pulls off a check/3-bet...

KJo in the SB, turn play
Villain is slightly too loose and way too passive preflop but plays pretty well postflop. He won't take a free card with position very often.

Re: Good draw, smallish pot...
12 outs was about right, guys. 9 cards make a flush and the 3 remaining Qs make a straight. The 3 kings are worthless to you, the turn raiser can beat a pair of kings and you're going to check fold...

Ok - kinda a newbie question, but 12 outs is 25% with 1 coming and its 2 bets for 6 or 33%. Given the very likely potential that we lose UI, why is it an easy call? I can see it if it is...

Re: welcome to the rock.
So you have 150 hands on this guy. I'll assume he's raised twice, which would put his pfr at 1.33%. That could mean he raises AA, KK and AKs (1.2%), or AA, KK, and QQ (1.4%), or some other range...
