Re: Playing dead
Nice...I think live this play gets called a high percentage of the time and you're getting paid, online very easy to get away from an allin and the betting $200 line mentioned above is likely best.

Re: nuts in my stomach
Bet the flop, pot to 3/4 pot. Unless you normally check your monsters trying to trap, I doubt he is getting away from AK here.

Re: KK: Hero has no clue
Tough spot, it comes down to if he has the 5 or not. Check the turn, if he bets, try to get a read off of him. If you lead the turn, I think you have to be ready to put your stack in, you can't build...

Re: I call? (2/5 NL)
Hand #1: Having invested only $65 in this pot, don't really like calling off the rest of my chips with the 2nd nut flush draw, I probably fold.
Hand #2: Call, likely AK here, if he has a set of...

Re: Live play metagame hand
I understand you're reasoning for wanting to send a message, but you say you're in a situation where you're likely behind and he's a good, tricky, player. Find a better spot to send the message than...

Re: 2/4 KK in SB Need Line
3rd raise preflop online always has been AA in my experiences. With no read, I would fold the flop and move on to the next hand.

Re: NL200...3/5 Blinds at Bicycle Casino
I remember reading a post by Mat Flynn in the high NL forum once about there being reasons to fold your small blind in deeper stacked games, and it described a situation very similiar to this. But...

Re: 5-5 No Limit Deep stack hand
Tough hand, I play in pretty loose 5-10 live game where situations like this come up all the time. As a couple of the previous posters said, two hands you fear here are 9-7 and 7-5. Sounds like...

Re: Commerce, 400 NL, 4 handed, Blinds 5/10
[ QUOTE ]
This is live poker in a casino right.
Call. I have zero respect for anyone who plays less then 1000NL in a casino, and not much respect there either.
Don't be surprised to see a...

Re: How do you play the Turn?
By C/R turn you are representing the 8, if he calls your C/R one of the cards you mention comes on the river I continue to be the aggressor and bet, these cards you mention will pay off your river...

Re: Commerce 400 NL - Flop Question
Playing this hand UTG in a deeper stacked game is going to create some difficult decisions for you on later streets but as you played it I think I would just call villians flop bet and see what...

Re: Common problem with super-draws
You did not mention pre flop action but I would lead this flop almost everytime with this type of hand. I don't like checking b/c I may miss the opportunity to start building a pot on the flop with a...

Re: Trip Q\'s what to bet on turn
Depends on the amount of the CR and my read/past encounters with villian. IF he CR my stack, it is really tough decision, probably fold and live to fight another day.

Re: Trip Q\'s what to bet on turn
By not raising flop you are letting him take the control of the hand, how are so sure he has a Q, and if so it's better than yours? I think the best line is using your position putting pressure on...

Re: 200NL
Why not bet the flop? Against two villians I think you have to continue to show strengh on flop, checking here screams AK. Good agressive player behind probably picks up this pot with an agressive...

Re: 2/5 NL Live Hand
I think the only hand you fear here is a set of 5's. Pretty much rule out JJ or 1010 due to the PF action. In live loose NL games, this could be an OESD or a lesser 2 pr, so you are getting pretty...
