Re: AQs... I think I played it OK
if your read told you that your opponent never 3bet the turn with just tptk, then i think you could make an excellent argument for folding river unimproved.....right.
but perhaps i was to quick to...

Re: Getting Limp-R against unknown.
[ QUOTE ]
I cap AA.
[/ QUOTE ]
I thought about AA, and I decided I would rather just call the pf 3bet with that as well and take this odd opportunity to Jack him for more with a cutesey play...

Re: As pairs go it\'s not much - J3s
I like it too. My thoughts are that you have him beat or he has a big hand. I think you have to call the river as you have induced a bluff. I dont think he has a flush, b/c no flop raise. I dont...

Re: AQs... I think I played it OK
I think some would cap pf, but I dont really care that much about it.
Flop looks fine.
Turn looks good.
River, I think the correct play vs sane opponents would be to check/fold unimproved....

It should also be noted that a player with 60 VPIP and 1.0 AF is not passive postflop.

This is exactly what I thought when I read OP, and the first few responses. IMO...

Re: annoying hand
imo, sop is folding to the turn 3bet. however, at the party 10=20...there is a minority of players that I would call down profitably here.

\'06 Goals Post
-Avg 55hrs a month...I'd like to do twice that, but life's demands make 55hrs a challenge.
-Make 2x 2005's dollars. Should be tough, playing less hours.
-Be playing 30/60 by year end. Should be...

Re: What is PokerRoom 10/20 5-max like?
I played the 10/20 5 max on the pokerroom network for a month or two, and I think the players on average are worse than those on party. I think the games are better. however, i think you will burn...

all you really need is to understand the thought behind the theory.......you do not need to follow it blindly or wory about the exact details. it's just a strategy to help you deal with some...

Re: Which street is worst?
I voted turn. However, I was thinking the flop at first. Little light pf, but whateva... nothin bad there. Based on your line, river is aproaching auto.

Re: Working on my game---Button defense
I think that I defend the SB (by 3 betting) much more vigorously than I do when defending the button. For example, sometimes I'll 3bet QTo from the SB... but I don't believe that I have considered...

Re: MLHE advise for 20/40 - crap?
I voted fold, but I think it depends on what kind of good player he is, table dynamics, my image etc. If its a tyte pf good player, I'm prolly going to fold. If it is a laggier good player who...

Re: Preflop: Hijack PP vs. limper
I'd limp here. The players do not seem all that wild as a group pf. If you were sitting a a table where hands were 3betting and capping pf a high % of the time... then I'd muck. If you expect to have...

Re: The Overuse of the WA/WB line Out of Position
For the record, I thought that the "Weak Ace Line" was a type of WA/WB scenario. OR you could say that all Weak Ace Lines are WA/WB scenarios, but not all WA/WB scarios are Weak Aces. Anyway I was...

Seems highly questionable to me...the turn cr attempt seems kinda risky.
After checking and faced with two, it seems very close (to me) whether you should call two or 3bet. It's hard to say what...
