In the sb I fold. If it's 2/3 blind structure I don't think it's that big of a mistake to call if you feel you can get paid off huge with a made hand. Or is it not?

Re: I ain\'t gonna work on Maggie\'s farm no more.
In hand 2 I guess you were afraid of the set of jacks? It's possible he could have QQ,KK, or AJ and he's raising to protect his hand. You probably had a real good read on him to lay that hand down.

Re: 20/40 this one can\'t be right - KTs
[ QUOTE ]
You can increase your VPIP from LP. I fold KTs here, especially since the table is aggro preflop. You'll get iso-raised a lot and you'll be in lots of tough spots OOP too. I'm sure there...

Re: AK, funny action.
Can I ask why you called the flop then came alive after CO raised?
If you raised the flop you possibly could've knocked out CO and have position through the rest of the hand.

Re: 77 out of position.
Postflop looks standard.
Pre-flop i'm not too sure I don't play 10/20 10-handed. But in 6-max games that pre-flop raise is very standard.

Re: red 88...play along with me
I usually limp but now that I look at the posts. Raising is not a bad idea. There are like 5 limpers and you're like a 7.5-1 dog. If you hit your set the players will be encouraged to keep playing...

Re: gutshot with overs
I would fold.
The pot is only 3 SB. Raising for a free card in this spot isn't worth it. You pay 2 SB to win 3. and you're probably the underdog right now. You're OOP and UTG might call your...

What if villain put you on exactly AJ and he overplays his QQ,KK,AA. I don't know if I would lay it down but him having exactly JJ and catching his 2 outer is pretty sick.

Re: Not much value in a value bet
Betting river seems bad to me. TAG is obviously on a draw. He's gonna raise with whatever monster he has on the turn. Checking seems to be more positive ev in the long run.

Re: Right line with JJ?
After reading all the posts it sounds very logical that he doesn't have the ten. I personally raise that flop to see where I stand.

I don't know what you're aiming for with that river raise.
What if the extremely weak/tight player has you beat with a flush?
If he's weak/tight he would be wary of the 3 clubs on the board...
