Re: 2/4 AK TPTK picks up nut flush draw on turn. Line?

I don't get this: "I think leading all-in might actually be better. It's hard for him to call then."

Any hand better than yours (i.e. top two, set, flush) are never folding. Try to get value from...

Re: from the small blind with limpers

Re: $200NL vs, 5/10 (6 Max)

200NL will get you more $/100 hands assuming that 8PTBB/100 is roughly comparable to 3BB/100 for 5/10, but you play less hands. Also lower standard deviation for 200NL but higher bankroll requirement...

Re: AA@ $50 PL

I don't like it at all. He's not playing this way without at least a J in what is basically a limped pot. I woudl check the turn after the way the flop was played.

Re: I\'m a winning player, but I\'m too tight!

[ QUOTE ]
I forgot to mention that I 8-table as well, which invariably will make me a little tighter. I think 8-tabling, if I could have a VPIP of 15-18, I'd be pretty happy. I'd rather be tight...

Re: I\'m a winning player, but I\'m too tight!

Before you get loose, practice getting agressive postflop. Call a raise with a pocket pair, but this time don't fold on a T high flop when you get bet into. Try calling and bet the turn if they...

Re: January goals post (and December revisited)

Actually play 20k hands without tilting before moving up (assuming I have the roll). Rinse and repeat. Hopefully will be back to 200nl by the end of the month.

Re: Keep losing with AA. Do you like the fold?

No need to raise this flop, if you do you have to call.

Re: What you do in this situation?

i rarely raise with 99-JJ in the blinds against numerous limpers because i can often go to showdown with those unimproved, but i will sometimes raise 22-88 for image purposes and QQ+ obviously.
