Re: Mediocre flush on river
I bet/call a raise by BB after a button fold but I bet/fold to a raise by the button. Check calling here is loosing a lot of value.

Re: Jerk of the Day
I am not worried about the jackass asking to see the cards. I am worried that out of humiliation the donkeys will be afraid to go to showdown with garbage.

Re: 2 pair turn mistake?
You played this fine. There are now 2 flush draws on the board not to mention he could hit his kicker if he also has an A or make his trips, set, or straight if not. You can not be upset at this...

Re: Final Table Decision
Calls this every single time. The way tourneys are set up you have to play for 1st, forget blinding your way for another 200 when you have a shot at winning several thousand.

Re: 30/60 river action?
Well I did three bet and he called with AA and HHIG. I really thought he had TT or 44 but you never know what folks are going to do with AA. I guess he thought I was drawing by not capping the river....

Re: 30/60 river action?
I had the same thoughts as you brom and felt that he had a lower set. You just do not see many caps from players on the turn that are drawing, especially after I had shown so much strength. I also...

I hate big tourneys
Back to back to back big buyin tourneys 150+, I have been in great chip position (above average stack) and close to the money only to look down and see KK and lose an all in against AA from one of...

Re: Super Wed. Anyone?
Adanthar knocked me out 300th or so when my pfr with JJ pretty much committed me. I got shortstacked when BB hit a set on the turn with 44 when I had TPTK. Oh well, I will be back.

That is bad. Read Malmuths Gambling Theory and Other Topics. Any kind of stop win or stop loss is bad because you are inevitably leaving in some profitable situations when you do not need to leave...

Re: Top set, scary board, lots of multiway action
I do not think a 3 bet by SB will kill all of our action here as anyone with a flush draw will call as well as some folks with just a jack or a lower set or 2 pair hand. I really like raising this...

Re: KQs ...cautious river play
I bet out on this river also because the board is scary and you do not want this getting checked through. After you check I raise this river because button will call here almost every time in a pot...

I agree wynton, it was 5 handed and i was on autopilot preflop. I raise 55 UTG as a standard operating proceedure at a 5 handed table. With these guys as the blinds I should have mucked it.

No contiunation bet
I fire flop after a preflop raise almost 100% of the time. I am looking for spots where checking behind may be a better option. How is this? Blinds are both LAPs 60/15/.5 ish
