Results
Well the results were really something you wouldn't expect.
I just called and lost to CO who showed KK for a set of kings.

Re: A tricky one
[ QUOTE ]
I'm with this quote, if anyone had a straight they likely wouldve capped the turn. I would 3 bet the river also. If T9 is actually out there, then you probably wont be capped since you...

Re: multiple forks in the road
[ QUOTE ]
Plus, by over representing your hand, you usually force the UTG player to define his hand on the flop or the turn. If he does so by raising, you can almost always lay it down safely. If...

Re: multiple forks in the road
I would not 3bet this hand preflop against a UTG raiser and an UTG+1 coldcaller, since there are a lot of flops that will slow you down.
also there is really no point CRíng this hand on the flop...

Re: Hand Vs Good Player
this is an expensive semi-bluff or bluff if you intend to bet the river unimproved. Your putting 2 BBs to win 4.5BB if he is to fold the turn which won't be likely for a broad range of hands.
So...

Re: I HATE [censored] Partypoker???!!?
wow at least im not alone...
but seriously the beats are soo [censored] ridiculous that I know the games are profitable to play.
It's just a little [censored] discouraging getting checkraised...

I HATE [censored] Partypoker???!!?
I've been running so freaken horrible at the Partypoker 30-60 its just sickening..
over 38851 hands I'm at -0.08 BB/100
THE REALLY FRUSTRATING THING IS that I am winning solid on every...

Re: Texas Holdem Hand
Bottom set with that much action on that kind of board I don't think your going to win here much based on the description of the players, their positions, and their flop actions.
clear fold IMO,...

Re: i sure hope you had 55
This is a read-dependent situation.
Without a read I would lean towards calling down more. If button is solid and I have a good image to him then I wouldn't mind your fold too much since it's hard...

Re: NO HEART, NO HEART, NO HEART
Pot is huge and .62 aggression doesn't mean he will not bluff here enough times to make this a call.
I'm curious though what his street by street aggression was and what his action %s on the river...

Re: River spot
BB will just call here with a worse hand enough that even if the rare few times you did get checkraised and called to lose to a better hand this is still a value bet.
and I would still call even...

Re: spew?
This isn't a bad spot for a semi-bluff since a lot of the time you'll pick up the pot right there on the turn.
But I think there needs to be more information about the last player that's acting...

Re: Forgive me for asking, but...
First hand looks like a raise to me and call if capped.
Second hand I would call down here, no point jamming this turn and putting in lots of bets against someone that's loose and could very well...

DERB\'s recent play
Maybe he's lurking these boards but anyone notice he's playing significantly tighter lately?
I was playing with him the other day on the 50-100 tables and his VPIP/PFR for the session were very...

Re: 150/300 bellagio hand
I really think you should be leading this turn and call a raise, then fold on river unimproved with 95% confidence you were beat. At least you get full value for your hand this way incase you draw...

Re: AKo button (xposted)
I don't mind the coldcall, but I also don't like it at the same time. Your coldcalling + any aggression blank turn is going to give your hand away pretty clearly.
I like the fact you have the As...

Re: How Does Derb Play?
I could put up some hand histories but like other have said, it does not really show what DERB's game is about.
Personally from what I've seen of him, he is very aware of his image and has a very...

Re: hand vs. Angelina
From what I've heard of angelina I don't think there's anyway he/she is folding an Ace or 9. I don't think a 9 would've played this way and an ace would not hesistate on the turn.
It could...
