Re: At wit\'s end

I implied that my bankroll was $900 because I said I had $600 in poker WINNINGS left?
"You played two hands and lost them both. Obviously poker is...

Re: At wit\'s end
Dear Sarcastic Morons,
Next time, try reading the post before you flame the poster.
Where does it say that my bankroll is $900? Where does it say that I'm currently following the weak-tight...

At wit\'s end
My last two Live 1/2 NL sessions were bad, very bad. I decided to start playing online and suffered bad beat after bad beat. After two months away from live poker, I decided it was time to get back...

Absolute Poker, .10/.20 LHE, 6-Max
At a table full of fish last night, but made only a small profit. They played every hand, called every bet all the way to the showdown. Sounds like a dream,...

Re: Near the end of my brief Online career -Whine
I have noticed the Europeans, and Asians but haven't yet run into the maniacs you describe. I found that at the .10/.20 tables the players are a lot more loose/passive, so you can collect on your...

Regarding the small BR:
This is the way I approach every venture in life. Start small and test the waters, then increase the investment if it shows promise. This may not be the correct approach...

Re: Near the end of my brief Online career -Whine
Fair comments and I appreciate them. I'm around 10k hands.
Don't understand the Weak-Tight comment though. Were you referring to my not slow-playing sets? Every book I've read says that's a bad...

Re: Near the end of my brief Online career -Whine
I understand that $295 is a relatively small bankroll, but I think it's enough for me to see that this won't work out at all. Even if I was a total fish, I should be able to win once in a while. I...

Near the end of my brief Online career -Whine
I've been playing online (Absolute) for about a month. I deposited $95 and was basically able to play break-even (1/2 Limit) to earn my $180 bonus. Had the account up to $285 and now after a brutal...

Re: why is limping so bad?
I have a similar question about limping. I'm a live limit player who has been playing 1/2 NL for the last few months. I'd rather play limit but for various reasons have no choice. Anyway, I've done...

Re: Deposits by New Yorkers
I think you missed my point. Banks in New York won't allow payments to gambling sites. I don't think Neteller accepts money orders and the banks won't issue a cashiers check to Neteller etc.
