Re: TT help
Thanks everyone.
In these situations, I am thinking "OK, for 1 more BB I can C/C and see the showdown or bet out with some fold equity, and fold to a raise, but then I get no showdown for my...

TT help
5/10 B&M last night.
Nothing special about the Villian. Sat down for about 20 hands to this point, showed down reasonable hands.
Apologies for the format - doing it by hand.

Re: Marginal offsuit limp UTG, fold to raise?
[ QUOTE ]
I want a multiway pot when I'm out of position with ATo and KJo..
[/ QUOTE ]
No you don't.....they play terribly multi-way. You are trying to scare off anything marginal that would...

Re: OK, crucify me.
[ QUOTE ]
You made a big mistake not raising preflop, a big one.
[/ QUOTE ]
Agreed.

Re: Would you call this down?
You had two chances to dump this....
I muck this pre-flop when it's two cold back to me.
I muck this when it's two to me on the flop.
You are behind a lot of things. Remember that pre-flop...

Re: Small PP makes a set
Raise the flop. Make any KQ pay to draw, and whoever caught TP (or 2 pair) pay to stick around. You will most definitely get action.

Re: KJo from early
If you're going to come in, you must raise it from EP, and scare off anything marginal, i.e. weak Ax. You can't limp in and encourage a multiway pot. Try to reduce the field, but be ready to get...

Re: Flopped set w/77, better way to play this?
[ QUOTE ]
I could make them pay more on the turn by raising then.
[/ QUOTE ]
But if the flush hits on the turn, they make you pay. Don't wait. You must charge them while they are still...

Re: 45s Button hand
I'd fold this pre-flop with only 2 limpers ahead of me....
Just call the flop 3-bet.
UTG's action on the turn is key, IMO. He checks behind, then cold-calls BB's raise - like someone on a...

Re: Confused on the Turn...
I'd raise this pre-flop.
Raise a flop bet - it might induce a turn check from UTG (thinking you have A-better kicker), which could buy you a free look at the river. If bet into again on the turn,...

Re: Time to quit.
I'm also a member of the -100BB club. Pumping draws that do not hit, betting/raising to protect TP hands to see an overcard A or flush card hit.
Had 44 in the BB - flop came Q 4 Q. Got a lot of...
