Re: I\'m a winning player, but I\'m too tight!
I forgot to mention that I 8-table as well, which invariably will make me a little tighter. I think 8-tabling, if I could have a VPIP of 15-18, I'd be pretty happy. I'd rather be tight and have a...

[ QUOTE ]
Calling raises, is very read dependent for me. If I have 50 hands on a dude who has only raised 1 before. I'll fold AQ. If he is at 15%, I'll reraise.

I\'m a winning player, but I\'m too tight!
I've played NLHE for about a year now, and I've totally dedicated myself to becoming a winning player. I play $50 NL full ring and over my last ~30K hands, I'm a 8.4ptbb/100 winner, so obviously I...

Re: 10 20 Party Value Bet River?
I check this pretty fast. As stated above, I don't see many hands you beat that call you. Overpairs to the flop might call a smallish bet, but by betting small you risk getting blown off your hand....

I'm fairly new to Omaha, and I'm just now starting to make somewhat steady money in .10/.25 PL on stars. Your hand selections look great...but do you ever play big pocket pairs if they...

Re: for everyone in a 300+ downswing

Re: Fold bottom set on the turn?
I agree with everyone else, I fold the flop. You did have a backdoor flush draw, but that might not have even been good either.
When someone re-raises me like this, I can just hear Brunson's...

Re: A tough spot w a big pretty flop
I'm in favor of calling the flop here, simply because I don't believe there is any fold equity in an all-in. The only way he's folding with this much money already in the pot is if he is bluffing. ...

After I pushed all-in, UTG pondered for a while, and he pushed all-in for his last ~$75. Then the MP sat and pondered for a while, and he called. The turn was a 2d, and the river was a 3s.
UTG...
