Re: Book Suggestions
While I thank you for your suggestion, I know not all Texas Hold'em books are created equal. I was hoping to hear from some players how the books are; not just look at the list of books on two plus...

Re: First MTT post.
I'd say a bad play, if he is decent at all he will realize he just put in almost half his stack and will be getting 3:1 pot odds on the money there. I'd call and if you hit something you can bet and...

Re: AK - Vs. Reraise all in and a call
Since everyone else is changing their vote I hope allowed the luxury to do the same by changing my vote to call from push. I think we can assume the pusher either has a pocket pair around 9s and...

Re: Do you call here?
If it's going to be an all-in fest, stay out b/c then probably 3 guys will be knocked out ahead of you and you know you're 50/50 at best but probably 67-75% chance you'll get in the money so I don't...

Re: Do you push this???
This is a tough situation. If this was my last 33 dollars to gamble away I fold, but if you are playing to win, I push. You have to beat two opponents and 6s are a very good hand to do that...

Re: This is when you apply the squeeze play.
Sorry guys didn't read the ep+1 calls, that changes everything, now he either has to push or call. I go with call and hope I hit a flop and then can bust him. However pushing against a pocket pair...

Re: This is when you apply the squeeze play.
Well in Doyle Brunson's book he talks about this situation, about trying to catch something if a player is playing kings and aces and doesn't raise and you have a suited connector. He recommends...

Re: What\'s your move here?
Simple...you check and if they bet you fold. Most players want to move up in the money and its considered wrong to bluff at a pot with nothing if another player is all-in. If they bet, they...

Re: This is when you apply the squeeze play.
Good play just you bet too much, if you raise him lets say 1500, and he calls or raises you know he probably has something and has you beat badly. So next time don't bet as much but still raise. ...

Thanks guys but responding to Alexander, you never get the same cards so you have to play differently such as slow playnig aces instead of moving all-in on the flop. Of course when I play limit I...

Alright I read somewhere not sure exactly where though that betting a minimal bet after the flop is usually a bad idea b/c more agressive players will come over the top of you. Well I tried doing...

Re: 55 UTG, FT on UB
While 5s are nice hands to have but top 10% is pushing it. I'd say that they are top 15% but I digress. Here I would say push it b/c he is short stacked but normally I play 5s with a lot more care. ...

Re: Folding the nuts... would you... ?
Obviously you can't but the guy on a 5 but qs, ks, and 4 are possible but they bet with a flush draw, I'd put sb on a k or k q and mike on 10 high flush

Re: 55 UTG, FT on UB
Realistically the only thing we are worried about are over-pairs. If an opponent has one, he might as well call a taxi. However, there is a 9 in 17 chance that one player at a table has a pocket...
