Re: Lay it down? AKsuit
reraising pf is not a necessity here... not sure why people are saying it is. sure it makes decisions easier sometimes, but its not always the best way to play.
if you reraise and get hu vs a...

Re: yay
oh yea, hand 2 sucks. you need to check/fold, as people wont bluff with a naked spade enough here to warrent choosing another line. even if they have a big draw, you will see a flop raise a decent %...

Re: yay
hand 1 you need to lead the pot. i actually think c/r isnt very good at all. he wont call your c/r with most of his range, so c/r doesnt have much value. plus if he has nothing he wont fire a second...

Re: AJs flop action?
if i raise, i make it 140, not 240. vs bad players that call too much, id prefer to make my hand before sticking in huge chunks of my stack, meaning that i dont really feel like playing for my entire...

Re: AGE OF THE EMPIRES

Re: 3/6: KQ flops TP, turns two pair
when the pot is big like this on the flop and you are oop, i like leading the flop. its tough to play this hand on the turn and river if you c/r the flop and get called, and its tough to play on the...

Re: Trips line help...5/10
yea, its a tough situation, because no matter what your play you make it very easy for the villian to make the best EV decision.
also agreed that 3 betting is the worst option vs most decent...

Re: Trips line help...5/10
this is actually a common situation and one that i do not play optimally everytime.
his turn raise does not scare you enough to shut down. you would like to get more money in the pot, but you...

Re: TPQK in position hu
i raise less pf to keep the pot manageable, keep in some dominated hands, make continuation bets cheaper, make it less enticing for someone to c/r bluff me on the flop, and allow myself to raise pf...

you are pretty screwed here. id fold the river given you got there as you did.
the decision to check the flop, call a turn bet, and value bet the river if he checks and fold if he bets is usually...

Your play is really confusing me.
You called a large raise on the flop presumably because u thought u had the best hand.
Then you feel the need to bluff the river agasint someone...

Re: two kings
the question is how best to get your money in vs his very likely draw/worse pair. the stack sizes make a push a bit uncomfortable, but it cant be terribly wrong. i may even go with the min raise here...

Re: Should I bluff? (Ignore my location, please)
i agree with you and think that you will get a fold a decent % of the time if you push. i have made these bluffs lately and they have been successful, but in general i probably dont make this one...
