Re: Early in a MTT. how do i play this

[ QUOTE ]

[/ QUOTE ]

No, don't disregard the river bet, learn from it. I've learned from bets like...

Re: AKs Near the Bubble

There's 3k in the pot, you have 5400, you want action on this flop. Betting 2k might induce villain to push with a T, flush draw, weaker A, whereas pushing will probably get a T or flush draw to...

Re: AKs Near the Bubble

This hand is basic, if he check-raises you on the flop, you put your money in. You're happy to get it all in with this hand on this flop, you are very far ahead most of the time.

Re: Late in a $3r, AJo in BB.

[ QUOTE ]
This is a decent line. Gotta call the min-raise. Flop and turn have likely missed him and you are ahead of his range, so a bet is good. However, you miss a value bet on the river. He...

Re: Party $5+1 R&A: TT ITM with big stacks, villain covers me.

I think you should have round house kicked him in the face. Barring that and any other significant reads, your play is fine.

Re: Party Friday Night Special

I don't like pushing. Party tourneys allow for more options in short stack play due to the lack of antes, so it seems a bit like overkill to push with this stack. I would call the re-raise as I'm...

Re: suited to be or not to be

Alot of the value in playing suited hands instead of unsuited hands is in flopping a draw and winning the pot without having to make that draw by betting or raising. True, it's a small % advantage...

Re: from chipleader to out in the stars 45k rebuy

[ QUOTE ]
I don't like raising to 50K and folding to a reraise at all. Once you raise to 50K, you have pot odds to call.

K7o is only a 59-41 dog to A2o and you have pot odds.

Re: Stars $109...Trouble with AQ, again.

I'm generally ok with the limp, and generally ok with a raise. The reason I tend to raise with AQ is that I'm ok just winning the blinds with it and I'll get more information about any opponent's...
