Re: 2-4 hand by noobie
Hi,
With 2 dead T's I would lean towards a fold on 3rd here.
I would probably value bet 7th. You have a scary board
here that could be a str8, a flush or trip J and you have
bet on most...

Re: 8/b Playing Split Aces
If seat 6 is reasonable then they have made a flush on 6th
a high % of the time. Hearts are quite live for them. Seat
4 looks like they have a worse 2 pair than you.
I could find a fold on 7th...

Re: Question about Negreanu and props
I read his blog and for a while now have had the feeling that he is bored
with poker. He plays a WPT event and gets bored, does something "fancy",
ie generally -ev, and gets knocked out, but who...

Re: Rough low in multi-way pot
That's a great situation you were in.
I'm not sure I raise 4th with Seat 2 in as
I dont want to knock out the other high hands.
However once Seat 2 folds it looks a lot
better. Your hand is...

Re: Rough low in multi-way pot
Post the hand history or board cards please if possible.
I presume you are on 5th with 4 to a low and one brick.
If everyone else is going high then you should be raising
or overcalling,...

Re: My first 58BB pot (LC)
nh!
I would love to know what Seat 4 had for them to go
check_call_raise on 6th, unless it was just a
desperation move knowing it would be capped anyway.
I think you just have to keep...

Re: Hand 2
I hate KK, and 1 K being dead would be enough for me to fold this.
I guess completing is OK and at least the Ace folded. If you had
a lower card than 8 exposed it would be more deceptive, like a ...

Hand 1:
I would fold 4th. I know you caught a /images/graemlins/heart.gif but 3 are already dead,
and other people have caught low cards.
5th is bad because you catch a great card but now 4...

Re: 7stud hi/lo vs. Omaha hi/lo
I also made the same move: Holdem->Omaha8->Stud8
I think there are generally more bad players in
any given Stud8 game (at the low limits I play)
than in an O8 game at similar limits. Just that...

This time they did not go completely passive on the later
streets though so you probably are beaten.
Do these sort of players...

Hi.
I dont really understand your raise on 3rd. I guess this is
not your default play in this situation ??
The 9 completing is unlikely to be on a flush draw 'cos so
many...

Re: [censored] Chip Reese!
Is there anything wrong with playing this fast from the start?
If you do just call on 3rd then the way 4th played out you have
the opportunity to charge most of the table 2 bets if you reraise...

Re: Is this fold obvious?
[ QUOTE ]
6th street is an auto call, too much in there you are making a huge mistake if he's not full, and a king is dead. If you don't fill on the river then you might be able to get away from it....

Re: Hand versus table full of fish
Would they have limped the bring-in with 3 clubs ?
I agree with the previous poster that you could have
completed 3rd. If they had called that I would have
an easier time believing they had a 3...

Re: Not aggressive enough?
With the 6 showing I would raise 3rd as it is almost
certain to be taken as some good 6-low like 62As.
It's got great deceptive value at this point. Once you
catch the 9 and keep raising it's...
