Fold high pocket pair w/ overcard hits?

Fairly common situation:

Mostly loose passive players, one or two tight passives and a LAG.

SB w/ QQ, two or three callers, I raise PF, BB folds, 2 call:

Flop, K82r. I bet, everyone calls....

BlackJack Counting Online?

Is it foolish to try counting cards in an online casino. Anyone have any experience trying?

Maybe USBL or trading card companies like TOPP, RML Russel owns the Spalding brand which is heavily entrenched in NBA brand gear.

Re: Low Limit in Vegas

Excalibur had the best cardroom from what I saw. Mostly spread games 1-3, 2-6, NL, Stud, and an occasional 4/8 holdem.

Two great incentives: If you lose w/ pocket AA, you get to spin a prize...

Re: Spanish 21

Nevermind. Looks like the house edge on Spanish 21 is around .40 using perfect strategy, which would seriously bite into an advantage gained by counting.

The house edge is even higher .78 on...

Re: Flopped quads ...

Ignoring the specifics, this is a "How do I extract the most value from my strong hand post".

Could be a flopped flush, full house, a high set, nut straight.

Personally, I think capping the...

Spanish 21

Does anyone use a counting system to play Spanish 21? Would it even make sense to do this?

Re: Flopped quads ...

Unfortunately, I do.

Flopped quads ...

I'm before button with QQ 6-12 spread game. Wild game, lots of LAGs/Maniacs

Re: Raising pre-flop in very loose games...

I'd like to make 2 or 3 people pay for weak draws, but not 6 or 7.

A good situation (that doesn't improve your hand) with QQ is a flop like J 7 2 rainbow, it's likely there is an ace and or a king...

Re: Excalibur: beyond the cardroom -- looking for info

True, the Excaliber has awesome live games. 2-6 spread hold-em that is very easy to crack for a decent player, not to mention, any quads or better hand (Dont even have to play both hole cards) gets...

Raising pre-flop in very loose games...

Please pick apart my logic...

I tend not to raise in late position with a lot of callers in a very loose low stakes game. For instance, in a 2-6, 2-12 spread game w/ 1-2$ blinds where most...

Re: Very wild 6-12 spread hold-em game strategy?

Yeah, I'm short stacked, it's a spread limit game though, so a BB isn't necessarily 12$ it's 2-12$, avg probably 8. and the blinds are 1-2$, so I can afford to play tight pre flop until I build up a...

Very wild 6-12 spread hold-em game strategy?

In this 1-2$ blind, 2-6, 2-12, spread game at the local cardroom the play is very wild, most players are very weak, drunk, aggressive and loose gamblers. Its a good game because if you get Pocket...
