Re: New type of keylogger...
It doesn't sound like it's advanced enough to cause much harm if you choose your passwords carefully, even if someone was trying to use it right next to you. The algorithm requires someone to get...

Re: New type of keylogger...
I find it very hard to believe thay can do this with any kind of accuracy in all but the most isolated cases. In any residential area there could be numerous CRTs (TVs, monitors, etc) as well as LCD...

Flop bottom pair, checked around
Just joined this table and have no reads. But this situation comes up several times per night and I'm still not really sure what my best move is on the turn. I usually try to let the pot size...

Re: Should I go back to school?
It seems obvious that you don't want to go back to school. Plus you're not really sure on the direction/subject you'd like to major in. I'd continue to take a very light load of 1 - 2 courses and...

Re: Consequences of decreasing aggression
In hand 1, I don't mind being passive, but I would've raised the turn. If he is on a draw I would like to make him pay extra right here, instead of letting him see if he catches before throwing in...

Re: Poker Room 1st Time Deposit...
I have the same issue as OP (previous existing account w/no bonus code from my play money days). Unfortunately it's not as simple as creating a new account using a different email address. They are...

Re: A few hands from my wonderful day.
Here's what I would do (keep in mind I'm relatively new to NL tourneys, so let me know if I'm way off base)
Hand 1:
Tough decision, I'm either all-in or folding, but likely folding(maybe too...

Re: Played this one stupid?
If I elect to checkraise this flop I'm raising more than 800. Probably just put him all-in right there. The flush draw scares me and I don't want to take the chance of my 3s getting counterfeited...

Re: AA preflop with KQ on the board

What would your plays have been having seen the KQ? A probe?

I certainly wouldn't check this flop through. I'd be thinking I have the best hand but I don't want this guy...

Re: Is this a good move?
Ok, I'm folding preflop then. Since you already called though, his flop bet does look very suspicious. I like the all-in then, and just cross your fingers he doesn't have JJ or AJ.

Re: Is this a good move?
First inclination is to fold preflop. But it would help if we had more info on villain's preflop raising standards. From the info you did give it looks like this guys gotten some great hands so far.

Re: Too big a raise?
I'm a relative newbie to these tourneys as well, but I think a raise of 60 - 75 would be more appropriate. Basically raise about the size of the pot or a tad more. That should knock out one or two...
