Re: TPGK - Call this river?
That's a hand that I don't raise pf only because it has historically screwed me over big time. Were it suited I wouldn't have thought twice about raising it. I took a few seconds and was really...

TPGK - Call this river?
This hand just happened recently and is bugging the crap out of me. Villain is 25/0/1 after 12 hands (stats stayed about the same for him the rest of the session). I just got my KK run over by a...

Lord above I see enough bitching in here but not a single piece of advice. Just saying WPE or anything like that isn't going to help anyone on any forum in here. So please, oh poker god that you...

Re: For those who say they hate chasers!
Assuming lots of limpers and I'm in late position I'd play it everytime. In general, though, I'd rather play high suited cards then hands that are easily dominated. Maybe 76s wasn't such a good...

Re: For those who say they hate chasers!
When I get stuck in a loose passive game (which happens a lot in casinos) I tighten up just enough to where I'm only really playing high connected cards. You can't make those guys fold with well...

What's your VP$IP with that percentage of winning? It is a small sample size, but you could just be running real hot lately.

Re: A7s Plan
I don't like the 3 bet, any made flush is capping it and laughing at you. It may be capped before it gets back around to you.

In all reality there are a lot of factors that would go into this decision, so it's hard to make a thin call without anything other then an outside chance...

Re: A7s Plan
Bet the flop out and see if there are any raises. I'd call the raise and c/c down if no more diamonds show up. I'm not calling two cold on this flop though.

Re: Bad Time to Peel One Off?
Why on earth would you cold call two bets with bottom pair, a weak/tight who just decided to go on a raising spree and sitting with maybe 5 clean outs?
If you call this it's going to be one of...

Re: AA, 10-20 Borgata
I like you're line through the turn, but I would have raised the river here as well. You're looking at Kx here most of the time and he'll probably call a river raise as well. A stronger hand would...

Re: Too Aggressive or just stupid?
Villian certainly isn't showing you much of anything and without reads he holding exactly two cards. If he's a calling station (which is what it looks like) he could be sitting on any pair and is...

Re: Too Aggressive or just stupid?
How is that flop bet a standard play? Hero whiffed about as bas as he could on the flop and is drawing to 4 outs at best with his BDFD and 3 A outs. Hero isn't even coming close to the odds to bet...

KTs/QTs/KTs/JTs/maybe T9s?
Don't be too narrow.

Even that's too narrow! Depending on position and table reads I'd raise down to JTo and anything 77+ from MP. And if...

Re: I played this like a little wuss.
On the flop you've got TPTK, BDFD and an over card. You're sitting pretty nice and I wouldn't be too scared to cap. The turn hands you your flush draw and is pretty much a blank to this board. ...

Re: I played this like a little wuss.
You've got a strong hand here, don't be afraid to cap it. The turn gives you a flush draw to the nuts and only more reason to get money in the pot. If you miss the flush and it's not an over card...

I'd only fold this to multiple raises when I've got a read on him as being a rock. Against an unknown I'm showing this down.

Re: AQ, TPTK HU vs TAG
TPTK is a great hand to have HU, why aren't you betting out the flop? The only way I check that flop is if I'm going for a c/r (which I wouldn't recommend here). Bet/call a raise on the flop and...

I would have went for the check raise on the turn, you'd have had everyone trapped already for one bet and they're likely to call one more. Atfter the river blank you have the nut straight and at...

If you check this through the turn villain is going to open the river just about every time. In this situation I think Hero is beat, but what about on a different board, say if that A were a 5...

Depending on how many other callers there are to that raise then I'd be playing a lot of hands. If it's just the two other players you mentioned then I'd be much more inclined to call with a PP then...
