Re: Playing -EV in high stakes = +EV?
"Plays like betting on the flop right away with 2 pair as opposed to waiting till turn to check-raise. ALl of these are common schemes on 50/100 I find, whereas they are nowhere to be found in 30/60...

Losing EV not changing your nickname?
Ok, i'm not a fan of changing my well-known nick to any other one. I used to run some time ago 2 nicks simultaneously and my well-known nick run better. Of course there were not enough hands to make...

Re: Blind Steal ?
If SB folds i would call with at least 120% of my cards:-). Every flopped pair from this moment has good "implyed" odds and Q-high has SD value.
Seriously, position cost to you from 0.1-0.4bb/h...

Re: The Peter Rus rule
Thanks for posting this. I'm actually tired to clarify everywhere about this stuff. I'm smiling occasionally when finding some posts in small stakes looking like "Pretend to be Peter_rus - Defending...

Re: Quick quiestion about SB-defense

The question then becomes what do you raise with. I think your situation is pretty similar to the usual button stealing situation. When you steal on the button, you are raising against...

You aren't supposed to try and outplay him, because playing your normal game is outplaying him already.

Quick quiestion about SB-defense
Well, say it's 50/100 or higher game. Everyone folded to button and man on a button, who stealing 100% of time and is average postflop (not lag) raised. You are in SB and you know BB is decent...

2 Party hands, Kukavica, Fucngr8t
Used to play 50/100 Party a bit this month.
Try to find my way to dominate these smarty lags. I often try to outtrick them, not betting only with goods, bluffing, occasionally folding and try to be...

Re: Peter Rus bb hands
I re-consider my view on blind defense. Approach you mention was too rough. I'm more selective and read-based with my defence HU for now. I'm extremely loose against SB-raises and steal raises from...

Re: The new trend at my casino
I think you should play looser with high flopping equity cards preflop (big cards) but avoid playing hands with high implyed equity. If game is very loose you can play hands that have +ev in multyway...

For instance if you group all suited combinations together you would get a skewed view because hands like AKs or KQs are obviously profitable. Just because the group as a whole performs...

More shoddy work
Hello ,
Instead of debating of why my work was shoddy - i'll answer you with calculations, that assume your 1.33SB gain from flush-draw.
So it's 3-way and we have 5-1 with our 3-8 in our BB....
