Re: $22: J10, forced to take a stand?

If you posted T400 out of T1000, yes, I think you have to call.

Re: $22: QJ, push? Guess before using SNGPT

I guessed push. Glad I'm right. I was thinking: letting BB off easy here is crazy.

Re: $100 mtt ub tourney

First, it sounds like you're calling T16000 into a pot of T31000. That means you're getting nearly 2:1 to call.

Assuming your opponent is not on a pure bluff, what are some made and semibluff...

Re: KQs in BB vs UTG limp

I think you're highly likely the best hand on the flop, and should lead rather than giving free cards. I'd expect an underpair to raise you here to find out if you're serious and you need to come...

Re: $11: Easy push with J-9s?

Depends on BB's calling range.

If he will call 22+, Ax, Kx, Qx, JT+, then it is pretty strongly -EV. If he will call 22+,A2s+,A3o+,KTs+,KJo+,QJs only, then it is +EV. (The latter is the 'maniac'...

Re: More money to be made in MTT than SNG\'s?

I cant imagine having a higher expectation in todays online multis. First of all they take forever, second of all the max buyins are quite small. Third you have to play on a schedule...

Re: $22: Push or wait with an uber short stack

[ QUOTE ]
If push, push any 2 from position or is there a limit to your push hands?

[/ QUOTE ]

Push any pair, any A, any K, Q6o+, J8o+, T8o+, 98s+.

Re: $22: Push or wait with an uber short stack

[ QUOTE ]
I'm pushing any 2 here. It sucks, but I think this is the best situation you're going to get - you're likely to be against one player with a random hand. If you wait that's probably not...

Re: $22: Push or wait with an uber short stack

With a range of 22+, A2+, KT+, QT+, JT+ (which is actually probably overly generous) for the SB, and any 2 for the BB, pushing is, as noted, EV neutral. Even if the SB is slightly tigther (22+, A2+,...

Re: Was this preflop push with AK too agressive?

There's not much else to say. Given you've got a read to eliminate AA, you're only a significant dog to KK. Every other hand he could have you are either a small dog or a favorite. With your suited...

Re: $33: 4 hands from yesterday\'s losing session

I think 99 here is a judgement call, but I'd definitely lean to a call. Giving him an 'average' range (44+, A7s+, A9o+, KJs+), this call is -EV. If he's "loose" (22+, A2s+, A3o+, KTs+, KJo+, QJs+),...

Re: can i lay this down?

You definitely don't fold the river to that small of a value bet. I expect in a 5+1 to see KJ or something shown down. If they'd bet 200+ on the river, I think you can and should lay it down.

Re: Curtains: flop decision

micro,

What is wrong with a push here? With 600 already in the middle I'd say it's +EV.

I'm not saying it's the best option....but those chips have significant value already even...

Re: 11: how bad was this flop push?

Pushing isn't so bad, i figure you probably have to be a favorite, and it makes it easier when he bet out on AJ or who knows, K2diamonds, 89, KK, etc... On all of these you are the...

Re: ($109) Too passive a line, or just right?

Interesting. I read the whole hand, and then decided that if your range (JJ+, AK, maybe AQ) was correct, the only hand that could have played the hand that way was KK. (Or maaaaybe AK, but I though...

Re: 11: how bad was this flop push?

Well, assuming he's on, say, Jc Jh, probably the most dangerous hand, you're 34.75% to the river, which makes the push about even EV-wise after his raise, assuming you have no FE.

If he's on, say,...
