Re: Flopped nuts turns to scary huge pot

raise flop to 35-40 range. If for some reason you decide to misclick and don't raise the flop-- then push the turn for sure. When you're deep stacked you have to fast play made hands against LAG's.

Re: Was this a bad play or bad luck?

I probably push the flop... unless you think villian is going to call with Qx a lot.

Bad luck.

Re: Flopped a set... should I fold it?

Clear call-- you're getting 4:1 pot odds.... plus some implied. River the boat and stack both of them off.

Re: Cowboys folded

I'm all in.

The problem here is there's exactly 3 hands that beat you-- AA, 66, TT.

That's why I push.

Re: AA line check

Flop is good.

Bet 7.5 on turn.

River is fine.

Re: 100NL : overpair sniff out a set?

That flop 4-bet sucks balls. I call the min raise and probably C/F the turn after you start losing to the only hand you beat.

Re: preflop suited aces and suited connectors?

Playing these hands require hand reading skills that an average NL 25 rock will not possess.

Personally, I prefer to raise them in late position and fold them in early position. Against tricky...

Re: AA UTG - too weak tight?

I don't think this is nitty at all. You could easily be drawing dead, and villian likely has 2 pair or better.

Only hand you beat is AK, and I think he reraises preflop.

Re: Is this an easy fold?

I agree with the consensus here. You can find better spots to "make him show."

Wait for TPTK or a good overpair/set or something before you can stack him... getting cute with underpairs is a good...

Re: Losing value or prudence??

Why no turn raise?!

As played, 1/2 pot on river... whether or not you call a hefty CR is read dependent

Re: Tough River decision: Did I leave him with too much implied odds?

If you think this is a tough river decision.... you re-define the term nit.

Re: Is this standard?

Any time you get the money in the middle on the flop with 15 outs... its a fine play.

Re: Top Two what to do ? 50NL

River... meh. Why would he have a Q?

Re: Working at not seeing monsters

Does he raise KJ or QJ on this flop? I dont think so with most 100NL players.

Some might, some won't. He definitely wants a call here.

I fold.

I hate bragging about hands... but this one made my day. Talk about terribly played.

My first hand at the table, 25$ NL, 25$ stacks.

Limped around by 2 guys, I check my 4...

Re: A Non-Standard Set Line

Re: 67s hits trips

I really hate this spot... but I can't see him having 8x here often. I guess he could have 89 or T8.... but nothing else makes sense.

Of course, I also hate to call a PSB for a split pot.
