Re: Easy Transportation to Chicago Casinos
To be honest, I'm not sure I understand the schedule on the Resorts website. I'm assuming you'd ride from one of the hotels in the loop. The column detailing "Package Information" says $12, but...

Re: Easy Transportation to Chicago Casinos
I used to do this back when I was in college and didn't have a car...but it was also Harrah's back then. I don't think things have changed that much though. In any case, I think you pay $12...

Re: Easy Transportation to Chicago Casinos
Depending on where you are staying, there is a shuttle bus that takes you from downtown Chicago to Resorts (the bigger of the two poker rooms). Not sure about the Trump bus. I'll take a look to see...

Re: Chicago Area Cards
Go to Resorts East Chicago. There will almost definitely be a 10/20 game there, even a 20/40. Trump will most likely not spread a 10/20 on the weekdays.

Re: First trip to AC
you accumulate comps on your player account in dollars. so for each hour you play, you get $1. When you want to get some food or something, they deduct it from the balance in your player account.

Re: Trumps - Indiana Fri 11/11
First of all, I don't know why a lot of people make this mistake, but the casino is Trump without the 's'...as in Donald Trump.
Anyway, I haven't been to Trump for a while, but when I did, they...

Resorts Chicago may soon allow iPods, etc.
When I was at Resorts this weekend, one of the dealers told us that they had a meeting the previous night regarding the use of music players such as portable radios, iPods, etc. He said that they...

this should be in the small stakes pot-limit & no-limit forum...

Re: TRUMP, Indiana SOLD
Hmm, I wonder if this means they may close the poker room. Even though I rarely frequent Trump, I like it being around so it gives Resorts some sort of competition and no monopoly on poker.

9\'s vs. potential river steal and one overcard
Pokerstars $2/$4 NL. I'm UTG+1 with 99. Table seems fairly unexciting...not too passive or aggressive, not too loose or tight. I decide to limp and go for set value. Cutoff raises to $12. SB...
