EV is one consideration, but hardly the most important. If someone offered to give me $2 million or flip a coin for either $5 or $5 million, I wouldn't have to think about it.

I don't think it's a dick move at all. Imagine if you won the WSOP ME and afterwards, the TD comes up and says, the 2nd place guy played so well, how about if we just make you guys official...

Both books you mentioned are for limit holdem only. SSHE is geared towards smaller limit, no-foldem games. HPFAP is more applicable to tougher, mid and high-limit games.
