Re: Hand against NemesisXX
please please please raise the turn. Nem is awful and will pay off ALL the time here. Her 3b range is also very loarge and she will never slowdown.

Re: Blind Battles: Hand #5
Because if there was no metagame a river bet by him with no pair is -ev, and if he is tough and solid he knows this. The only thing you are folding is a busted flush draw. Also I think he is free...

Re: 80-160 river decision
I just check here, he's never folding an ace, I cant see him calling with a 2 here. We need to pay off a c/r if he was slowplaying an 8 on the turn.

Re: Blind Battles: Hand #6
Dane, this post sums up my recent play almost perfectly. Altho I wouldnt say I NEVER raise the flop, but maybe only 10% of hands I am going to raise in this situation. I think it definately adds a...

Re: Blind Battles: Hand #5
The situation is TONS different. I think the main difference here would be what your opponent is expecting you to do. In hand the a5 hand he probably wants a call, since ur hand is pretty transparent...

Re: Question for 10/20 players
Ive heard Party Beta has crashing issues. Can you comment on that Krish? I just heard about it today, but I dont have that much info on it, probably time to do a bit of searching. Plus I kinda just...

Re: 10/20 Hand
Maybe you should include these reads in the original post :P
And not, it doesnt change anything as these are by far their most likely hands.

Re: 10/20 Hand
Who is slowplaying an 8 on that flop. Not the solid player thats for sure. People are a lot less likely to bluff in 3way pots on the river than they are to call, and a jack isnt raising this river...

Re: Question for 10/20 players
2560x1600 :O Looks AMAZING as far as image quality is concerned, not to mention the size.
Id say you could probably 12 table with a bit of overlap if you wanted to.

Re: Question for 10/20 players
I play 6 tables almost always, altho Im hoping to buy the 30" apple cinematic display so I can 8 table with no overlap on 1 monitor. Right now I can do that but on 2 monitors and I get really...

Re: AQs Capped OOP
This was a weird hand huh? Turn I probably check as well. The lag could raise who knows what. However if you had bet the turn, UTG woulda folded and you woulda taken it down =P
As for river action...

Re: Raise for a free showdown again
nonono. Raise the flop to drive out the blinds. As you played it bet the river for value.

Edit: the queen makes the river bet closer actually. A check is probably ok but I definately bet...

Re: 10/20, 2 3-handed hands
We beat almost all missed draws and nobody folds a 6 here ever in the 10/20. The river bet is no good.

Re: Marginal hand?
Yes not just because you get more value here, but also it gains a bet if he is on some hopeless bluff.

Re: KJ from SB 10-20
I fold here. 32/22 players are usually aggro, but not completely stupid. I dont see many hands you beat betting this river when he got called in two spots on the turn.

Re: Marginal hand?
Checkraise river, rest looks good. I dont mind a call preflop maybe since these guys never seem to fold postflop, and qj hi isnt the greatest showdown hand. Getting the BB out does have merits tho,...

Re: Two Turn Checks vs. NemesisXX
Edit: FWIW to the rest of the posters I have nem's wtsd at 46% over a pretty big sample, so she will call down with any piece.
I like them. Hand 2 I dont mind a bet either but a check is probably...

Re: Official December goals post
1. Play more poker than XBOX 360 (50k hands or so I guess would be good)
2. Run better (400BB downswing in November)
3. Get my xmas shopping done early
4. Play a few tournaments and improve...

Re: 20/40 some unconventional blind defense - Q9o
Tough preflop situation because of the loose BB. I think fold is ok, and call is ok. I would raise if BB is under 40%vpip probably, but as is your probably not gonna lose him and ur losing your fold...
