pocket tens - ace flops

Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (7 handed) converter

In my first orbit, so no good reads. Both opponents seem loose.

Preflop: Hero is Button with T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
UTG calls, 2 folds, CO calls, Hero raises, 1 fold, BB calls, UTG calls, CO calls.

Flop: (8.50 SB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, CO checks, Hero bets, BB calls, UTG folds, CO calls.

Turn: (5.75 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, CO checks, Hero ???

bet. If you get called, bet again on the turn. If you get check-raised, fold to a turn bet. In other words, you have the best hand until someone tells you otherwise.

Thanks. Betting out and folding to a c/r is probably a pretty standard play, but I think I've been misplaying at least a few 'standard plays'. Always good to get back to fundamentals, especially when you're running as bad as I am.

I hate these sorts of hands. I always seem to be up against the player who will call a PFR with his crappy-ass A7o, but then not bet or raise when an A flops. Just annoying...

This guy will do the same thing when you raise AK before the flop, too. True, it kinda sucks when you have TT, but we need to keep it all in perspective.

Bet, in the rare event you have the best hand, you can't give a free card to someone holding overcards to your pair.
