Bonus Whoring on 2 computers?

After getting my feet wet this weekend with bonus whoring, my roomate now wants to do the same.

Only problem is that we share the same internet connection through a router. Would we still have different IP #s?

Do casino's have a policy that only one person in a residence can have an account?

My roomate would obviously use their own name and neteller account.

I don't want to risk my future bonus whoring by getting banned for abuse. Any advice?

Connect thru dial-up. Use different address.

1. No dialup modem
2. No dialup ISP

I will have my roomate use their parent's address though

Did you even read the original post? They live in the same place and of course have the same connection then. I don't think either of your suggestions would work as such. I'm not sure what you can do, though...

You should be able to find a cheap modem at a parts store, and get an ISP with a dial up that has a free 30-day trial.

There may even be places in your area that have a free DSL trial, surf around for it.

hope that this helps,

Shauna

Has anyone even tried to establish that they do anything about blocking via IP address? I would doubt that they would to be honest about it. They are more concerned with physical addresses than IP addresses. For example, what if you did use dialup? Your IP address comes out of a pool from your ISP. What if somebody else who uses your ISP had hit the casino before using the IP you just got? Would you be locked out? I doubt it.

In other words, I wouldn't worry about the IP address. I haven't tested it, but I cannot imagine that they would do so.

Also, you get a different internal (ie. 192.168.x.x or other unroutable IP) from your router. To the outside world both of your computers come from the same IP.

Most, if not all terms and conditions for these bonuses include a 1 per person and 1 per address restriction. Read the terms but I doubt you will get away with it.

In the Lucky Nugget 200 for 50 promo :
If you open multiple accounts you will not be eligible for the Sign-Up Bonus on each account. The Sign-Up-Bonus is only available once per Player and/or per environment where computers are shared and/or per e-mail address.

I presume environment means address.
You may want to ask the casino specifically but I don't think you will be able to do it.

Hi jaybird --

Read the Terms & Conditions carefully for each casino. They have different terms, but many restrict multiple accounts from the same residence.

From Lucky Nugget's T&C:

Re: Bonus Whoring on 2 computers?

One of my best friend (who also plays poker) stayed at my place last week-end. I told him about casino whoring, because everyone keeps postings about it. He said he was going to try it. I told him to try Nugget. Because it's only $50, not that it matters for him. $50 is almost a big blind for him.
On Sunday morning (noon) I wake up and he tells me he cleared the nugget bonus. He lost all the money because he did not played like I explained him to do.
Anyway to make it short. He played on my pc, with my connexion and he had no problems at all. Maybe he did not get any trouble because he lost his money.
I hope it helps you.
