Hand i watched. 15/30 Party.

EP open limps, RateMyPlays raises AKo in LP, BB calls, EP calls. Nothing to rate here.

Flop: Jc, 4h, Qd.

EP bets out. RMP calls. Rate it.

Turn: Tc.

EP bets out. RMP just calls. Rate it.

River: 4c.

EP bets out. RMP raises. EP 3 bets. RMP just calls. Rate it.

IMO, it's a clear cap on the river, but the turn raise is more important.

Preflop is obviously fine.

I'm raising the flop to get the BB out of the hand and take control (and possibly seeing a free card on the turn if a T, K, or A doesn't hit), though a call is fine too.

The turn is terrible. You know you have the best hand now, get as much money in as possible. There are plenty of scare cards that could come on the river (club, J, Q, T, 4) that you might have to slow down with, so get the money in while you're best. Especially with position, you have to raise this hand. There's a decent chance you'll get to cap this turn if you raise here.

I have no problem with the river, and probably would've played in the same way. A raise is mandatory, given the preflop action. Though wouldn't it have been nice to raise the turn, knowing a set would three-bet you, to gain a little information? I'd imagine your opponent had something like QJ, and you're taking the pot here. The only flushes I could imaine him having are Qc9c and Kc9c, though a flush in very unlikely here.

It's awful on every street. I would have raised the flop, raised the turn(because it's obvious by now that he will call or maybe rerasie) and I would have capped the river.

Raise flop, raise turn, cap river (if I raise turn and get 3-bet on the river, then I prob. wouldn't cap).

Seriously, you guys forgot the best part. After hitting your hand, you have to type in the IRC room, 4 OUTERS ARE FUN! Even if it isn't totally accurate, they are.

I don't like that river cap, as the card puts a flush out there and pairs the board. You're hoping he's three-betting on just trip fours? Maybe he is. A little knowledge of the opponent would certainly help. Also, if RMP correctly raises the flop and turn bet, then you'd know for sure whether or not to raise the river (for example, if he capped on every street, I'd assume he had a full house when the board paired).

Not capping is weak. What hands do you put him on? .. in order of most likely please.

I think capping on the river is a close call with no read on EP. Since RMP doesn't fear a re-raise and a fold is unlikely, he just has to be 50% sure that he still has the best hand. Since most Party 15/30'er overplay their hands, I'd be inclined to go for the cap. Qx of clubs seem possible, a full house is very unlikely. A4s would seem like a common EP limping hand.

And I'd definitely raise the turn.
