How someone can consider themselves a serious poker player and then write that is truly bizzare.

If he just had summarized it into "I don't play online poker, because may opponents constantly make -EV calls against me." maybe he'd realize how dumb that is.

You would think so. For someone with enough time and poker intelligence to give an indepth analysis (read: whine) about his little bad beat, you'd think he'd have the IQ to realize its idiots like the guy who beat him that would make online way more profitable than whatever live game he wishes he was in.

It says the dollar amounts on the screen. I think that with chips we are less inclined to see them as dollars, but when it always accompanies your bet I don't think the disconnect is there. In fact, I've read on here people complaining saying they should give you the bet/pot sizes as bb online so that there is more of a disconnect and we don't think - holy [censored] I'm wagering my months rent on this hand!
