Las Vegas Tournaments -- Is this list complete?

I'm going to vegas May 8-12. I get there about 1pm on Saturday, and leave early Wed. morning. I am trying to put together a list of all the tournaments that will be going on and meet my qualifications. That is:
1)Buy-in is less than $100
2)NL Hold 'em, PL Omaha 8, or PL Omaha
3)On the strip or downtown(haven't found any downtown low limit tournaments)

Here is the list I have put together. Am I missing any? Are there any that you would particularly recommend that I play or avoid?

Saturday(8th)
8:30PM Luxor Hold'em Freezeout (41 players max.) $25

Sunday
Noon Luxor Hold'em Freezeout (41 players max.) $25
Noon Orleans No-Limit Hold‘em $50 RB $20
7PM Sahara No-Limit Hold'em $40 RB(1) $20
8:30PM Luxor Hold'em Freezeout (41 players max.) $25

Monday
10AM Mandalay Bay Hold'em Freezeout (30 players max.) $30
Noon Luxor Hold'em Freezeout (41 players max.) $25
Noon Orleans Omaha H/L $27 RB $10
7PM Orleans No-Limit Hold’em $40 RB $20
7PM Mirage Hold'em $60 RB $40
7PM Sahara No-Limit Hold'em $40 RB(1) $20

Tuesday(11th)
10AM Mandalay Bay Hold'em Freezeout (30 players max.) $30
Noon Luxor Hold'em Freezeout (41 players max.) $25
6PM Mandalay Bay Omaha H/L Freezeout (30 players max.) $30
7PM Mirage No-Limit Hold'em $60 RB $40

Thanks for any help

I'm pretty sure the luxor tourneys are limit. You get 250 chips and start at 15/30 blinds. crapshoot doesn't even describe it. Either way, get there a few hours early to buy your ticket. Mandalay too.

I'm going to Vegas next week and will be at the Mirage. I plan to play in at least one or two of their nightly tournaments. Last time ther tickets didn't go on sale until (I think?) 5pm for the 7pm tourneys. Is that still the case? Or can you buy earlier now? And is there a big rush/crush with the good chance of getting shutout without wasting a ton of time waiting in line?

I honestly don't know but the mirage tournaments are $30 events with a small freezeout so I'd guess you'll be alright. Hopefully some of the vegas residents will stop in and let you know for sure.

I heard that the Luxor started as limit, and then moved to NL at level five. But i guess if you start with 250 chips and blinds of 15/30, you're right, might as well go throw the dice. I'll probably avoid that one then. Do you mean Mandlay Bay has the same "crapshoot" structure, or just that I should also get there early to get in?

I believe the Luxor tournaments are the same as Mandalay Bay...Limit for the first hour turning to NL. I've never played one at the Luxor but was told it was the same last time I played at Mandalay.

Both. It is a crapshoot and you need to get signed in ahead of time. I wouldn't recommend it.

Both MB and Luxor have the same structure. Start limit and move to NL and start with not enough chips.

I used to play these a lot on my LV trips and have won or placed in both multiple times. The fields are ULTRA weak so don't just play stupid and hope to get lucky. Play good solid poker and hope to get lucky They are beatable if you wait for (and eventually catch!) a few good cards. Despite the crapshoot structure I have cashed in these things more than half the time. Then again maybe I've just been lucky!

This should read "but the mirage tournaments ARE NOT $30 events with a small freezeout"

Oops...sorry.
