2 questions.

1) Are the issues resolved from last time ?
2) Will the 2000 cap be on this one too ?

Capping that tournament at 2000 and not telling any one about that was a really bad idea. I had one friend cash out of party after he came home that friday night and found out he couldn't register.

Another bad idea is that they give you more chips the more raked hands you have played, and as Partypoker allready upped their rake in December, there is no way I will play 10 000 raked hands before this tournament.
And therefore no way I will be playing any of the satellites to this tournament.

Party finally realized that allowing allintimeouts in tournaments was a bad idea, the only reason they do not grab that Rake-Rape is a bad idea is because not enough players have quit playing cash games there.
Personally I play Sng's and tournaments there, but the hands I play in cashgames are basically to play off depositbonuses.

Mike O'Malley/PartyPoker.com , how do you justify upping the Rake last December?

As the biggest site you have lower overhead per table than any other site, greed is not good.

I'm under the impression that people / sites that pay for advertising on the front page are allowed to spam the forums.

I love you ToT, but this is a very dumb question. They are a business, and they believed they would make more money by upping the rake.

Exactly, you increase price a little, demand goes down somewhat, but if the gains offset the losses then they should raise the price. It's called market efficiency. A company acts to maximize profit given the demand schedule of us, the players.

I'm sure the rake increase has not effected demand by any remotely significant amount.

Right.
Maybe a dumb question, but getting the truth out to more people is not.
They have changed their decisions before (allintimeouts) after getting tons of emails, and by having the customers aware of the rake situation, and having lots of players either quit playing cash games there or voice their concern about the high rake they are charging, they might be convinced that it is not a good business decision but a bad one.

(I saw you play 30-60 so I know it doesent matter much to you right now.)

For me it is the principle of hating getting taken that is driving me to write these posts.
