Pokerstars SnG\'s 5+.50 vs 10+1

Is the leval of opposition any better at the 10+1 level than the 5+.50?

Marginally. My personal experience has been that you don't get QUITE as many total fish, but there are still plenty of bad players at $10+$1.

I like to warm up with a $10 as my first game of the evening. I have found the $20+2 to be more profitable than the $10+1, which is less profitable than the $5+50. Infer from this what you will. I found the $30 on Party to be the most profitable, when I played on Party, akin to the $10. The $20 I had trouble with.

Over the long haul, though, I've found that the $10 on Stars has 1-3 more people with a "clue" who may fold to a semi-bluff rather than call with crap or chase a draw. The $20's about the same. The $20's are uber tight until about 7pm EST, then they loosen up just right to be fun and challenging (to my meager skills). On the weekends, lookout, they can get mighty wild.

Probably less varriance on the Stars $20 than $10 than $5.
Profitability is probably best at $10.

I have recently started playing the $20's and $30's at Stars and they seem very passive. Is this normal?
