slot tournaments
 

After the WPT there is a show about a slot tournament at the Luxor. Am I missing something here or is there nothing to do whatsoever. I can understand the casino doing this as it encourages donating to them.

Anybody willing to admit that they have been to them or know how they work?

i have played in a few slot tournaments at the taj. In fact got paid in 2 different ones. Its not a bad deal they usually have a buffet set up and open bar to go along with it. My first cashing was better it was 1500 and the other was a team event for 400. All you do is hit the button for 10 minutes and get a score very simple.

Yeah, I watched a slot tournament once at the Taj. Some old lady won the cash, I ate free pretzels, and Jayadd didn't place [img]/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img]

Yes, I did enjoy the open bar

Small-buy slot tourneys in Vegas are definitely +EV. You just need to be faster on the button than your retiree competition. Stardust used to be the best for these.
