vegas help! taking the wife...

headed to vegas easter evening late and staying for two nights. will play a little poker (maybe two short sessions?), but im bringing the wife and she would like to have a good/nice time. basically driving out so should be quite mobile. interested in really good (upscale/expensive is fine, but QUALITY is most important and i dont wear ties or dress shoes) restaraunts, romantic and/or fun places to go/things to do (that gondola ride through the venetian mall is not really our thing. neither is the star spangled banner light show at fremont street.), anything else you might think is cool and details please if you dont mind.

are there any hot springs near vegas? we're interested in hot springs lately. also best place to get a superior massage (little tami chun's oriental XXX massage downtown doesnt count). and where should we stay? i was thinking rio but is that too dumpy? we dont really care about the lobby area.. more interested in nice pool/jacuzzi and nice rooms. not having to spend $500 a night would be preferable.

stay at the NYNY they have very nice jacuzzi rooms for inexpensive compared to the other mega resorts. Then take your wife to see zumanity.
I also would recomend the lounge light at the bellagio very nice, if price is no object.

Olive at the Bellagio is a pleasant experience. I recommend a patio table if the weather is nice. The food is good too.

The Rio rooms are quite nice, imho. I had a normal room when I stayed there (i.e. not a suite) and it was the largest room I have had in Vegas, plus we had a mini fridge etc in the room. The casino itself is typical Vegas.

I have had about five or so massages ever and the best one by far was at the Paris spa. I have two friends who just got massages there this last weekend, and they have had tons of massages at expensive resorts everywhere (various upscale hotels), and they also said the Paris massages are the best they have ever had. My masseuse was named "Eli" and I would easily recommend her, however given the consistency of reports of the spa, I wouldn't worry about getting a particular appointment.

For hotels, the Bellagio and Venietian are clearly the best.

Put the damn tie and shoes on and go to Delmonico's at the Venietian.

are they real jacuzzi rooms or just those extra large tubs in the bathrooms they have everywhere nowadays?

Think about the Palms. I have not stayed there but I think it would be alright. My woman liked the haircut she got there. I'm sure the spa stuff is good. My wife also liked the spa at the rio which she went to a couple of times, but she says it went downhill. She didn't like the spa at the venetian all that well actually. Needless to say the spa at the IP last weekend gets lower grades from her. And the big bathtub room at the IP was not all that great. She says spa at orleans was good. We have had a good time seeing O at bellagio then drinking martinis and such at their jazz bar. Although I think they have changed that.

Go to Delminicos. You don't have to wear a tie, but a tank top and tennis shoes won't cut it. Excellent restaurant.

I've gone in jeans and a tee shirt.

And felt MASSIVELY out of place.

But they let me in.

From what I've heard of Zumanity, your wife better be into the erotic arts...Overall, it seems suited to younger couples. Am I right?
