Rake

What do the major sites charge in terms of rake?

And how does it increase/decrease as you progress up the ladder? (.5/1-1/2 etc)

Re: Rake

Interesting Question.
I have created tables on Rake for the Major sites, both NL and Limit, I'll repost them later, slightly busy right now.
I am letting the rake lead me in where to play, wish all players would do that so we could get the rake down.

Re: Rake

It's generally in the neighborhood of about 5%. (Was that specific enough for you? )

When you get up to bigger stakes, it might tend to go down a little, but I can't honestly say that I know this for a fact as I still wallow in the lower stakes. 5% is still way better than most B&Ms (and you don't have to tip!)

Re: Rake

This whole tipping business seems very strange to a tight wad englishman.
(The only place you tip in England is good restaurants and Barbers)

What happens if you don't tip?
