ne1 else have disappearing buttons on Party?
 

It seems to happen to me only when I have either 3 or 4 tables open. The client is fine otherwise. I can chat with others, I can play in all the other tables, except the one when the button disappears! It has happened to me twice in the past 2 hours, and both times I had the best hand, and they held up to the river. It's cost me at least $100. Not a big deal in the big scheme of things, but it was so frustraing. I had a set of Aces vs. someone who had flopped two pair and the buttons disappeared on me before I could get any bets in on the turn... so I ended up timing out (since I have no buttons to press).

Just curious if anyone has had same problem and knows potential solution? I'll also send note to Party support and report back.

It's happened 6 more times since I posted, and I've rebooted in between as well. I've used up my disconnect-protects for the day, of course, but more important this is just unplayable. Even more frustrating when you try to play without any disconnect-protects and have to fold the best hand.

If anyone has seen similar behavior and can recommend a solution I'd appreciate it. Why can't any of the other poker sites get 40,000 people on at the same time so I can meander over to a better site, better client, better support?

RESOLUTION
 

Party says to turn off hardware graphics acceleration. I'll try and see if that fixes the problem. Although I wish they'd fix that in their client!

yes, i had that problem 2 months ago. the accelerater thing is not going to work. i reloaded their software a dozen times. talked to support a dozen times also. never was able to fix the problem.

my solution: i will never play there again.

and don't waste your time, turning off hardware acceleration doesn't help

By the way I returned to party because I can't take it any more and I just disconnect/reconnect my net connection every 1/2 hour while I play, which works fine. Annoying, but fine.

Is the quality of games at Party so much better that it's worth going through this?

If you play the middle limits then yes there is simply no comparison.
