Borgata regulars - some questions about the games...

For those of you who play low and middle limits regularly at Borgata, I'd love to hear what your general impressions of the 3-6, 6-12 and higher limit games are.

I've only been to Borgata twice, logging a total of 12-15 hours at the 3-6 tables. Both times, I have absolutely crushed the game and found it to be very soft. To offer some background, I'm a regular Party 3/6 player (along with occasional sessions at 3/6 and 2/4 on P*, UB, True, etc.) and I beat these online games consistently, but the Borgata has been even better to me in very limited action.

While playing 3/6 during my last trip down to AC, I was told by at least 3 different players that the 6/12 game was about as loose as the 3/6 and I'm assuming these players were not pulling my chain, as each of them left the 3/6 when a 6/12 seat opened up.

Too late to make a long question short(:p), but what are the Borgata regulars' impressions of these games? How about the 10/20?

I'm on my way back to the Borg this weekend, so all input is much appreciated.

Slogger,

The Borgata will most likely have 4 or 5 $6-$12 games this weekend.

The Borgata $6-$12 games usually play softer than an online .50-1.00 game. I have seen some tough games however those games have players waiting to get into a higher limit game.

I suggest you give the $6-$12 game a shot. The games generally play very passive and very loose.

If you see someone using a pyramid to protect his cards and wearing a baseball hat and glasses, come say hello. I have just described myself.

Will do. Thanks for the info and encouragement.

I'll likely have a Yanks or Notre Dame hat on (big win for my boys tonight!! ).

I'll do my best. Never really kept notes for live games before, but I'll try to relay my general impressions and a hand or two.

I almost fell out of my chair on that one!
I have met both her and him, and they are 2 very nice people. She also plays a mean 2-4 .

I've played 6/12 there before and I'd agree with MG entirely.

I'm also going to Borgata the weekend of the 20th. I'd enjoy meeting other 2+2ers then.

It looks like all the fish in Borgata slowly graduated to 10-20 game. I skipped last weekend but two weekends before instead of the usual 2-3 10-20 games they had 5...and the game went just like 6-12, loose-passive sometimes even flat out dumb. All three( ) players on my table who knew what they were doing left with 3-4 racks ... It was just hard to believe that 10-20 could be THAT soft...but I don't know if that was just my luck with the tables or that was the general level of play...

The Borgata has very good games on the weekends.

Try Foxwoods. The 10/20 is always downy soft. Although the best game I have ever played in live is still the 15/30 that fateful sunday with "Double Down" mosch. My position kind of sucked, double down's didn't but it wasn't a big deal as the table was that good.
