Hmm...a pokerbot that is a free downloadable .exe file.

I just folded AKo in an unraised pot preflop. You've got some explaining to do sir. To be fair, I was messing around with the number if iterations, and it may have been my fault.

Probably sets some kind of spyware, then someone else can see your cards

Re: A Pokerbot has finally arrived.

The default setup plays perfect pot odds (theoretically perfect poker), but this is only the default setting...

You can change every aspect of the way the program plays through the hand selection dialog and formula editor in the options menu. There is a long list of symbols you can use in your formulas which are essentially functions the program performs to make programming it very easy. These symbols are all available under the help section on the website.

By creating and editing formulas, you are creating your own bot that will play exactly how you want it to play in every situation it faces and every decision it has to make, which in my opinion, is one of the most attractive features of this software.

Here is a website link relating to the security the program provides...

It runs nothing in the background or when you boot your computer so it is nothing like a typical spyware program from what I can tell, my personal firewall or antivirus software has raised no flags about WinHoldEm either.

It seems like it is a completely legitimate program and I have been successful at the real money tables with it over many days of constant play. I haven't noticed any suspicious moves by opponents when I review my hands, so I don't believe the developper of the software is using it against me. This was one of my initial concerns as well, but one that has faded as I use the software more and more.

How do you edit the preflop code(s)?

Re: A Pokerbot has finally arrived.

Anything that you put in the formula dialog connected to
(betround == 1) will tell the bot what to do preflop.

For example, if you always want to raise AA preflop, put (betround == 1) && (handrank == 1) which is the hand rank corresponding to Pocket Rockets. Starting hands are ranked from 1-169, AA - 72o.

An easier way to do this though, so you don't have to do each hand you want to raise with individually, is to check the starting hands you want to raise with in the hand dialog window under the options menu. And then put (betround == 1) && (islistrais) in the "rais" formula dialog box. The same can be done for starting hands you just want to call with within the "call" dialog box.
