Against my earlier promises, I still decided to take my chances in the lottery. Yes, it is still as awful as before. The software is horribly slow, the blinds increase way too fast etc.

One positive point though, the blinds started at 10/20 level instead of 20/40, which gives a bit more play than the original structure told me by the GamingClub guy.

However, I still hate the crapshoot and the lag at the tournament.

Best of luck to all of you, you definitely need it.

Yes i agree with every thing you said mongeron.. but still i like there tournies for the Landbased tournies..
And i will probably play in more off them.

But I think if they made some adjustments to the blind times for each level i think it would be an big improvment!
Let say maybe increase the time 50%-100% for each level?
Well that's maybe something for the "gamingclubguy" to think about!?

And how did it go for me.. i busted out 107/359 when i got blinded down and had to go all-in on an A 2.. Thats poker.. right..

Crapshoot indeed. You're at the table for 2-3 orbits, and the blinds increase to 10% of your stack. All of a sudden it's all-in time. Sheesh.

I finished 58th of 359 which was respectable for the quality of hands I got. Meh.

I'll say this: If an online qualifier makes it to the final table, I'll eat my hat. The qualifiers move very fast, and someone who does well at that style will probably get killed on the WPT with their glacial (by comparison) blind increases.

See you all at the WSOP qualifier. :P

Well, I already have made posts during all the channels I have to Prima Poker. I have told Gaming Club Guy here, I've mailed Lou Krieger, Royal Vegas host, and I've used the General feedback form at www.microgaming.com.

I think there should be more of us that do this, we might have a better chance accomplishing something that way.

We’ve taken note of your posts and have passed it on to Prima to see if improvements can be made to the tournament structures (including all your comments made via PM as well mongeron).

Please bear in mind that the lag situation is at the top of the priority list at the moment and this is a little further down, so it could be a little while before we get feedback on this. When we do, we’ll let you know. Your patience in the interim is appreciated.
