5-10 NLHE

5-10 NLHE at Turning Stone Casino. In my second orbit, I picked up aces in the BB. One early limper, who I have never played with before, and a solid player in the BB raises to 75. I make it 200 to go, and surprisly both call. I have 1800, and both players have me covered.

SB checks, I bet 500, and the unknown player UTG moves all in. He has me covered. Call or fold and how close is it?

I don't play in games this large or this deep so take this advice with a grain of salt.

I am going to assume the small blind folded. I'll also assume that UTG and SB only have you covered by a little (so that if SB calls, UTG is only risking a little more than if you call). Do you have Ad?

I think I would call against most players. I think most players slow play flopped sets too much and semi-bluff flush draws too often. He could also have KK or QQ and think its good.

If your opponent is an expert, your play is probably to call some of the time this situation occurs (or find another game).

Yes, the small blind folded, and UTG was playing about 2500, which was about 700 more than me.

I think you need to grit your teeth and call here. This is a draw heavy board and the pot has 2900 and you need to call 1100 more. Seems like a good enough price here to me. A set is a likely hand, but so is a straight or flush draw. He could also be trying to steal from your "AK" since you would likely play that the same way. Pretty easy call agaisnt most players, IMO.

If your opponent is an expert, you need to call every time, since they will be more likely to bluff raise you all in here, whether they have some draw equity or not. If this guy is an expert, you should get a seat change to get him off of your left ASAP.

I say call. he could have a set, but would he really just shove in with a set like that, or would he try and be tricky and call?

the classic hand for him to make this move with is a flush draw, but in this spot it's almost too obvious, it really just depends. On a board like this, he may just be making a move.

I think I have to call here. It sounds like he has TT or JJ and wants to take down the pot with this favorable flop. I don't think he flopped a set because if he did he has to think he could make lots more money off of you by not going all in, and the draws are risky. I think right now you are a pretty big favorite, and that's when you want to get your money in. So what happened????

how much does the SB have?

What does he think you have?

GENERALLY when a guy gets $2900 in on the flop in a 5-10 blind game aces are beat badly.

Is this or is this not a great spot to call a reraise with a middle pair having your opponent covered and with position? Especially if your quite sure your opponent has a big pair that will be hard to lay down.

People think it's also a great spot to call with a suited connector too.
