50-100 Trouble with Aces Part 1

Decent full game. A rare hand in which limping occurred. 5 callers to me in the BB and I peak down to see A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. There are few sites that make a poker player's groin churn with ecstacy, this is one of them. I raise and all call to see a 6-way flop.

Flop-J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

I lead out and get raised by the first limper, a 'soft rock' who generally only raises holding a strong hand. Two coldcallers in LP and I simply call. I plan on betting out on the turn if no [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] or Jack hits.

Turn-J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I lead out again only to get raised again by first limper. One player in LP coldcalls and I call. I wasn't sure what to initally place first limper on but now I know it's a made hand, probably JT or a set of 6's. LP coldcaller would call with a draw or a decent Jack. I would like to see a non-diamond Ace,5, or 6.

River-J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

It's checked around. Thoughts? Does anyone else feel betting out to be correct if a non-diamond Ace,6, or 5 hits the river?

That's exactly how I'd play it.

I wonder if you were still beat, but the raiser chickened out with the completed backdoor flush.

I think you lose to jacks and tens.

Yes I think me betting out on the turn when the second spade came scared him off a river bet.

Me and a friend of mine have a rule that works pretty well against mediocre players: If they play a hand just like they have JT, they have JT.
